RMTs are allied health professionals. We work together with our allied health colleagues across a range of aged care, community, disability, health, and mental health services, and schools. This #AHPsDay we celebrate all of allied health, who work to improve people’s lives.

AMTA is a strong supporter of the NDIS and the potential it offers participants. AMTA welcomes the opportunity to work with government to further improve the NDIS for participants, their support people and providers.

Too often, AMTA hears from NDIS participants about music therapy supports being removed or excluded from plans. These changes cause significant distress to participants and their support people.

Registered Music Therapists (RMTs) are recognised therapy service providers for the NDIS and provide crucial, and life-changing supports for people with disabilities and their carers. Unfortunately last night's story is all too familiar.
