My @Ledger Stax is just 1.5 years old and the screen is already giving up. Kept it in good condition the whole time, so this definitely wasn’t from any drops or pressure damage. A bit unexpected for a premium hardware wallet. Is this a known issue or just my bad luck?

My husband and I booked a flight months in advance for our honeymoon. We booked 4A and 4C in First Class so we could talk, relax, and celebrate. We board the plane, get to row 4, and there is already a woman sitting in my seat, 4C. My husband politely looks at her and says, "Oh, hi, sorry, I think you might be in my wife's seat." The woman looks up, sighs dramatically, and says, "The gate agent moved her. I need this seat because of my medical condition. She's in 12D." 12D is Comfort Plus. Not First Class. I immediately look at my phone—sure enough, the airline app had refreshed while we were walking down the jet bridge and changed my seat without a single notification or warning. My husband instantly flagged down the lead flight attendant. He explained that we paid thousands for these specific seats for our honeymoon, and I was absolutely not moving to a lower class because someone else made a last-minute demand at the gate. The flight attendant went to speak to the woman, who instantly started crying, claiming we were "harassing" her. The flight attendant then turned to my husband and whispered, "Can't you just be a gentleman so we can take off on time?" The sheer audacity. My husband stood his ground. "If she has a medical need for First Class, she can buy a First Class ticket. Give my wife her seat back, or get the supervisor down here right now." They eventually moved the woman back to her original seat in coach, but for the rest of the flight, the flight attendant completely penalized us. She ignored our drink orders and literally slammed our snack baskets onto our trays. Sorry for wanting the seat we actually paid for, I guess?

On May 10, 2022, Alban Gervaise, a 41 year old father of 3 children, a French Military doctor & a Knight of the National Order of Merit, was on his way to pick up his other children at school when he was attacked with his 20 month old baby girl in the car with him. He was stabbed by Mohammed L who told police he acted in the name of Allah. However, The terrorist motive was ruled out by police within hours. Alban was in cardiac arrest when he was rushed to the hospital. 16 days later, he died. The terrorist was ruled mentally ill & that he had “suffered acute delusional episode” & he was sent to psychiatric treatment. No jail time. July 2025, 3 years after Alban’s murder, Mohammed L was declared not criminally responsible for Alban’s murder. The French press was accused of covering up this story. Alban’s wife is still fighting for justice. This is Alban Gervaise, RIP

93 year old man snaps during argument with his wife and is found strolling back from the scene. James Pate, a 93-year-old man, stood calmly on a path and made a chilling admission to responding officers regarding his wife, 80-year-old Cheryl Pate. The tragedy was the culmination of a long-term domestic struggle. James and Cheryl were in the early stages of a divorce after decades together. Cheryl had recently survived a severe car accident in Chicago and had only returned to the area two months prior. She was in the process of moving into a new residence—a move that symbolized a final break from the relationship. September 2, 2025: The Incident On the day of the crime, James arrived to pick Cheryl up. According to his statements, an argument broke out between the two. James claimed that the situation escalated physically when Cheryl allegedly reached out to scratch him, and in that moment, he "just lost it." He then retrieved a pocket kn*f3 from the center console of his car and used it to take her life. The bodycam footage captures the surreal aftermath: a man nearing a century of life describing a violent act with the clarity of someone discussing a mundane event. First responders arrived to find Cheryl non-responsive; she was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. Detention and Declining Health James Pate was immediately arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Despite his age, prosecutors moved forward, noting his ability to recall the argument and the specifics of the incident in detail. However, the case would never see a courtroom. While being held at the Tazewell County Jail, Pate’s health began a rapid and terminal decline. It was discovered that he had contracted both pneumonia and Legionnaires’ disease, reportedly due to complications within the facility's water system. Due to his deteriorating physical state, Pate was eventually furloughed into hospice care. On September 30, 2025—less than a month after the incident—James Pate passed away. His passing brought a sudden end to the criminal proceedings, leaving a community with more questions than answers. There are also stories that he was suffering from dementia which was a contributor to his actions. According to cases files there is no evidence that he was diagnosed or suffered from dementia. Any moments of memory loss were most likely due to normal age related memory deterioration.

In addition to my normal body cam videos, I will be sharing true crime body cam stories from time to time. These are usually long body cam videos that I will be editing down to a manageable size that won't lose too much detail for the story. As alway as the body cam can't show the entire story, I'll research case info to share in the caption. These are for entertainment and educational purposes.

The, claiming to be Christian, parents of both killers were given UK passports before both attackers were born. One attacker handed a bystander a handwritten note outlining their grievances, framing the killing as part of a larger "war" against perceived oppression of Muslims by the West. One random British soldier killed for some reason lacking any detail.

Today marks 13 years since two cowardly Muslims murdered Lee Rigby. They drove into him so he couldn't fight back, and began butchering him in broad daylight in "Modern London". Those in power want us to forget. We never will. His name will live on. RIP Lee 🙏🏻 🇬🇧

@bpitts246 @japan_nobunaga You are right. Seems there is some contradicting information out there. But yes, the most reliable sources point to a change of judge. There is no information available on the political conviction of Teresa Smith. Btw, bond was only 5 thousand dollar, not 50.

@Austin46933422 @japan_nobunaga Barbara Elmore was the judge that was going to hear the case before they moved it to Cabot and assigned a different judge. Teresa Smith was the one who released Fosler on $50k bond with 43 other charges under his belt. (pun intended).

1 AM. Arkansas. A dog won't stop barking. A father walks down the hallway. Opens his 14-year-old daughter's bedroom door. The bed is empty. The window is open. He already knows the name of the man who took her. He's known it for three months. Aaron Spencer is 37 years old. Army veteran, 82nd Airborne, deployed to Iraq. Farmer. Husband. Father of a little girl who used to sleep with the light on. The man who took her is named Michael Fosler. 67 years old. Three months earlier, when she was still 13, Arkansas had arrested Fosler and charged him with 43 separate crimes against her. Sexual assault of a minor. Internet stalking of a child. Sexual indecency with a child. Possession of child pornography. 43 counts. Against a 13-year-old girl. 43. The judge looked at all of it. And set the bond at $50,000. Fifty. Thousand. Dollars. Then she wrote "no contact order" on a piece of paper and called it justice. Fosler walked out the same day. And on the night of October 8, 2024, he came back for her. That's when Aaron Spencer grabbed his Glock 19. That's when Aaron Spencer climbed into his Ford truck. That's when Aaron Spencer stopped waiting for the system to save his daughter. He found Fosler's truck on Highway 31. His little girl was inside it. He chased him six miles. High beams flashing. Horn screaming. Begging him to pull over. Fosler did not pull over. So Aaron rammed the truck into a ditch. Drew his pistol. And fired sixteen rounds. Fifteen of them found the man who raped his daughter. Then he picked up the phone, called 911, and said the only words a father can say in that moment: "Michael Fosler is dead on the side of the road for trying to kidnap my daughter. I had no choice." The state charged him with second-degree murder. The prosecutor went on TV and said, quote: "We don't live in the Wild West." The judge slapped him in a jail cell. And every father in this country went silent for a long, long minute. Then something happened that nobody predicted. Aaron Spencer, awaiting trial for killing the man who raped his little girl, announced he was running for Sheriff of Lonoke County. A murder defendant. Running for the badge. The whole country laughed. The pundits called it a stunt. The papers called it impossible. March 3, 2026. The voters of Lonoke County walked into the polls. They did not laugh. They gave Aaron Spencer 53.5% of the vote. They threw out the incumbent sheriff who had locked him in a cell. They gave him a 27-point landslide. The father who killed his daughter's rapist is now the Republican nominee for sheriff in a county where Trump pulled 76%. His murder trial begins June 22, 2026. Five weeks from today. If he wins the trial, his name stays on the November ballot. If he wins November, he becomes the sheriff who answers 911 calls in Lonoke County, Arkansas. The father. With the badge. Of the same county that arrested him. This is what happens when a system lets a 43-count predator walk free for $50,000. This is what happens when a judge writes a paper order instead of doing her job. This is what happens when a father decides he is done waiting. There is something left in this country. Something the courts cannot kill. Something the judges cannot bond out. Something the prosecutors cannot silence. It is called a father. And in Lonoke County, Arkansas, 53.5% of the voters just looked Aaron Spencer in the eye and said: "Sir. You did the right thing. Now come run the whole damn sheriff's office." His trial starts in five weeks. God bless Aaron Spencer. And God bless every American standing behind him.

I've been driving this same commute for six years. Today I finally pulled over to watch something I needed to see. 🧡 It was a regular Tuesday morning on Kingsway. I was stuck at a red light when I noticed a little boy maybe eight years old, standing alone on the sidewalk with his bicycle tipped against a fence. He wasn't crying. He was just staring at his chain, the way kids do when they know something is wrong but have no idea how to fix it. Then a city bus pulled up to the stop right beside him. The doors opened. The driver a big guy, uniform, whole route to finish stepped down onto the pavement. Not to help someone board. Not because it was his stop. He walked straight over to that boy and crouched down in front of the bike. He worked that chain back on with his bare hands. Thirty seconds, maybe. He stood up, gave the rear wheel a spin to check it, then nodded like a mechanic satisfied with his work. The boy climbed back on without a word, the way kids do when they haven't yet learned to be surprised by kindness and pedalled away. The driver wiped his hands on his pants, walked back to the bus, and pulled into traffic like absolutely nothing had happened. Because to him, it hadn't. It was just the next thing that needed doing. A woman standing at the stop turned to me and said, "Did you see that?" I said I did. She just shook her head and smiled. "Nobody's going to believe me." I don't know that driver's name. I don't know his route number or if he'll ever read this. But somewhere in Vancouver there's a little boy who got home on time today because a stranger decided his two minutes were less important than one kid's afternoon. ㅡShirly Brian

A 7-year-old boy gets on a train in Tokyo. Alone. No mother. No phone. No adult watching him at all. He bows to the driver, finds his seat, and folds his hands in his lap. He is going to school. By himself. Across a city of 14 million strangers. And not one person on that train thinks anything is wrong. A businessman glances up, then goes back to his paper. An old woman smiles at the boy and looks away. Nobody films him. Nobody calls anyone. Nobody is afraid. Because in Japan, a small child alone is not a victim waiting to happen. He is just a kid going to school. Like every kid before him. I grew up being told the opposite. Lock the door. Watch your back. Trust no one. Never let them out of your sight, not for one second, or the world will take them. And somewhere along the way, I started to believe that was simply the truth. Then I watched a 7-year-old ride home alone through a city of millions. And step off at his stop. And walk the rest of the way. Safe. We had this once, too. A street that watched your kids. A town that brought them home. Japan didn't find some secret. They just never stopped being decent to each other. Quietly. Every single day. While the rest of us forgot we ever could. That little boy will get home tonight. He always does.

Two little boys. Five and three years old. Blindfolded. Dropped in a forest 1,200 miles from home. Told they were playing a game called “drive away the devil.” The older brother eventually took the blindfold off and realized their parents were gone. They wandered for hours alone carrying a backpack with fruit, water and biscuits until a stranger found them crying on the side of the road in Portugal. The mother and stepfather were later arrested. The world keeps trying to convince us evil isn’t real while stories like this happen in real life. Pray for those children.
