Maybe I'm wrong, but this reads like donors who haven't watched NU baseball since Will Bolt played could swoop and grab the seats that baseball ticket holders have held since Haymarket opened.

@SkersNews We fail to recognize how many season ticket holders in the past came from 100+ miles out. I’d love to see 90k+ in Memorial Stadium. The reality is that we aren’t going to see the attendance hold. 90K is 1/3 of the city. Hotels are $350night on gameday weekends.

@SkersNews - Even when winning our entire STATE has less people than many major college cities (Columbus OH has 1.7) - Tickets cost $60+ as they stand - A family of 4 won’t afford a game at current rates; prices aren’t declining - TV deals are a premium for a reason

I think any plan that loses seats is a mistake. Ohio st -102k Penn st- 106k Michigan -107k. Michigan St 75k Iowa 69k Purdue 61k Which group should we be in? The current proposed plan would put us in that second group. If/when we get back to good football. The stadium will fill. Season ticket waiting waiting list will return. Yes the seating sucks. It sucked in the 60s- 90s as well. Guess what?nobody cared because winning makes things more manageable. Can we have better seating without drastically reducing capacity? Yep. si.com/college/nebras…

@SkersNews 75K+ is a bad number based on current economics and demographics. Tom Osbourne was very very wrong in expanding the stadium.

@SkersNews - Many traditional season ticket holders are deep into harvest and fall cattle duties during season. Combined with high school sports they aren’t likely to drive the multiple hours for a Saturday 11AM kickoff - Volleyball, basketball and hockey in Omaha pull from the base.

Ag tech idea. Ball float, that notifies you either of actual level of tank or texts when it reaches a certain level. If you run with this I would appreciate 20 bucks, but surely it already exists.
