Beyond proud of @IowaHoops for an absolutely incredible run. Most fun March with men’s hoops in this Hawkeye’s lifetime. Ben McCollum, his staff and players represent Iowa in the best way imaginable. Future couldn’t be brighter.

Ben McCollum will be talked about when blue blood opportunities become open. He was just on Pat McAfee’s show and was asked about the Curt Cignetti comparisons. He complimented him a few times but also said: I’m more of a Kirk Ferentz fan. I’d rather be compared to him. No offense to Cignetti, he’s obviously a fantastic coach” Kirk Ferentz has been at Iowa since the 1999 season.

After more than 20 years officiating high school and college wrestling, my father-in-law, Bud Postma, hung up the whistle for the last time Saturday at the @SDHSAA Wrestling Championships. Something tells me he will still find a way to stay involved in the sport he loves!

One of the many things I love about the @TheIowaHawkeyes family is how they genuinely support one another I'm at the @seniorbowl this week preparing for the #NFLDraft and spent time with Max Llewellyn, Gennings Dunker and Beau Stephens while sporting my @IowaWBB hoodie. As I approach Max he says: "Yea man, love the sweatshirt! You know they're ranked 8th in the country right now, right?!" My response "Heck yea - love Coach Jan and her team!! I'll be watching Thursday night at USC!" @goiowa Side note - attending meetings and EVERY @HawkeyeFootball player here is at least 15-minutes early to meetings. I'm sitting in meeting and listening to them ask the right questions and engage... Two things: Success is not happenstance and Kirk Ferentz ALWAYS prepares his players how to be pros. Genuinely one of the best dudes I’ve ever been around in my 17 years in College Football. A proven leader, a warrior on the field and an even better dude off the field. Some @NFL team is going to be lucky to add @mgronowski11 to their QB room here in a few months.
