@AerLingus On Sept. 15 I submitted a refund request for a refundable fare ... was only refunded taxes. Provided additional info & asked for reconsideration. Have heard nothing. Filed complaint Oct. 3, and still waiting. Why identify fare is refundable if it's not? Please help.
@AerLingus we lost an estimated 6K on two sets of plane tickets for four people, Air Bnb, food, rental car, and parking due to the Sept. 10th outage of flight EI125 and you’re offering us 746 dollars in return? This is absolutely absurd.
@AerLingus My mother has been on hold with customer service for a month about 7 grand worth of plane tickets for our family that are not being refunded from the 9/10 outage. This is absolutely criminal. We want our money back.
We are aware that some customers are again experiencing issues managing their bookings and checking in online. Our teams are working to resolve this as soon as possible. Check-in at the airport remains available for all customers.
@AerLingus my family just informed me that our tickets for the massive worldwide outage you caused back on September 10th will not be refunded because we bought tickets for the flight the next day? That’s absolutely ludicrous. There was no direction on how to remedy the issue.

@AislingRiordan1@AerLingus Similar boat here. Keep saying flights are cancelled but online didn’t say that was the case. We have been holding out for hours to not have to spend 2-3X as long with multiple stops on other airlines. Even those are hard to get on now.
@AerLingus We were in terminal for 6 hours today to be told the flight to Chicago was cancelled, along with 4 or 5 other listed USA bound flights. So either you lied about cancelling them or you are lying online now
@diane_zanner@AndythePandy_@AerLingus There’s seemingly no hotels or flights. They’re trying to make us leave the terminals. Where are we supposed to go?
@AerLingus If transatlantic flights aren’t cancelled and people inconvenienced aren’t being charged, why can’t we just get on a plane why do we need a system if it’s free? Can’t someone manually check passports, IDs, etc?
@hrih51@PuYangyiying@AndythePandy_@AerLingus Okay that’s the last update I had too. Same situation. Would be nice to have a verdict on transatlantic flights on the site. Trying to figure out where we are staying tonight. It’s going to be a challenge to stay close to the airport.
