Finished the WWBA National Championships well at the plate on Sunday with a ball off the wall in straight-away center and a double to the left-center fence in a 3-0 loss. Posted .600 ba and 1.750 ops over final three games in Georgia.

Austin Mikel (‘27, IN) comes through with an RBI thanks to this double to the opposite field gap. Projection in a bigger frame. Starts ultra wide w/ compact hands. Minimal stride before firing through an accurate barrel. #WWBA @PG_OhioValley

June 6 at Regional Championship No. 2 Eastbrook tops Eastern, 8-1, for second-ever regional title! Went 2-2 with backside rbi single on a curve, 2 walks and 2 runs. Closed game with 2.0 ip, 2k, 1h, 0bb, 0r.

June 1 at Sectional Championship No. 2 Eastbrook takes 2-1 win over No. 6 Alexandria for title. Started and went 4.1 innings for the W on the bump. Fanned 5 with 3 hits (2 infield) and 1 run allowed. Also delivered go-ahead rbi single and had loud two-strike f8 to the wall.

May 30 at Sectional Semis Went 2-4 with a double and rbi single in 3-1 win. Also worked 7th for the save. Used FB/CH mix for 2k, 0h and 0r.

May 28 vs Madison Grant (Sectionals) Took lefty curve to left-center for first inning rbi double and early 1-0 lead in an 8-3 win. Finished 2-3 with double, 2 rbi and a run.

May 23 vs No. 2 University Took the start in No. 3 Eastbrook’s 5-2 win over a talented University team. W, 5.0ip, 1 infield single, 0bb, 0er, 7k Threw 43 of 60 pitches for strikes with 9 swing and misses. Also went 2-2 with a triple, double and 2 runs scored.

May 23 vs #2 University Had a big game to help Eastbrook to a 5-2 win at Indiana Wesleyan against University in a top-10 matchup. Went 2-2 with triple, double, sac bunt and two runs scored. Also took W on the bump with 5.0 ip, 1h, 0bb, 1 unearned run and 7k.

May 14 at Madison Grant Went 2-3 with pair of 2-run doubles and a walk in a big CIC win for No. 3 Eastbrook (19-3). Went pull side line drive into rf corner and then went with 2-strike curve into left center and legged out second double of game.

May 12 vs Alexandria Closed out the final 3.2 innings of a tough 3-2 loss to 19-4 Alexandria. 3.2 ip, 1 infield 1b, 0 bb, 0 r, 8k Threw 37 of 49 pitches for strikes and got 17 swing and misses. Retired last 10 batters in a row with 7 k.

May 2 at Grant 4 Tourney Went 4-7 on the day with a double, 2 rbi, 2 bb and 1 sb to help No. 4 Eastbrook claim the title and improve to 17-1.

April 25 vs Bluffton Came back on 1 day rest to close a 5-2 win over a strong Bluffton team. Had the change up working well. 3.0 ip, 1h, 1bb, 3k, 0r, SV (30 pitches) On the week, 2 gp, 1 W, 1 SV, 6.1ip, 0er, 4h, 2bb, 8k
