In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth2021, Austin Prep recognizes Misty Copeland. In 2015, Copeland became the first African American female to be named Principal Dancer at the American Ballet Theatre.

Throughout #BlackHistoryMonth2021, @AustinPrepDance will honor Black Athletes & Coaches & their contributions to our sport. Additionally, we look forward to participating in special activities on campus with our classmates to celebrate these milestones.
