@FinestCitySD This is the same offense as last year and what happened? I get it’s early but they had a whole offseason to figure it out and it’s not working. Tatis has been bad since last May.

24/162 Y’all are so quick to jump the gun with the hate 😂. We’re going to lose some games, relax a little bit 😂😂. Yes, the offense looks absolutely terrible right now, primarily at the top, but they’re gonna figure it out. I get as annoyed as anyone, but if you think Manny/Tati/Merrill will have sub 700 OPS idk what to tell you. This not pulling the ball thing is getting extremely frustrating too, so that little bit needs to end soon as well. 3 more games at elevation, let’s figure it out.

@padzbaseball Yeah I just think he’s not having fun anymore. It’s his mental approach. Maybe it’s the juice that made him hit home runs lol.

@AustinTaylor_24 Yeah ever since he came back from suspension he hasn't been the same. The padres could for sure get a good deal for him especially since how the market is his contract would be considered team friendly

Tatis' underlying stats are obviously saying that he should be playing way better but its gotta be his mentality I feel like there is no other explanation

Hard to complain when you’re 16-7 but the Padres offense still sucks ass and they absolutely need another bat to avoid a repeat of last October

@NationPadres At this point trade him. He’s playing like a Luis Arraez. He doesn’t challenge the bad calls the umps are calling.

@Di3seL I don’t think he is at all. He’s been like this since May last season. It’s all mental for him. He looks lost. I don’t know if he’s happy being there or what he just shows no emotion compared to 2-3 years ago and even the WBC.

Looks like whatever Tatis did in the offseason completely screwed things up. Seems like he is lacking confidence big time. He is getting bad calls from umps, but never challenges. I can’t wait for him to regain his form but it looks like it’s going to take a bit.

The Padres were arguably the least relevant team in baseball with a boring uniform, a lackluster on-field product, and no stars. And now they're selling for a record amount. It's so crazy. Will never be able to thank Peter Seidler enough. Miss him every day
