@Dalrymple I have only heard this in LDS missionary culture.

Here is a question: Is the word "trunky" — meaning someone who has a foot out the door and is thus less engaged with their daily tasks — widely know/understood? Or is this just a Mormon missionary term?

@NancyRPearcey In my experience living in a mostly secular and liberal city, religious people tend to have a more positive and hopeful outlook on life and the world. Many secular liberals view the world in a way that makes them think it is "unethical" to bring new life into it.

@wanderingdave Yeah it's up in Central City, too. We've had several shootings this month--near the Library, near 2nd & 2nd bars, inside someone's apartment near Trolley Square, etc.

Randomly ran into Chief Redd today. Only said hello, but I wish I had told him good job. From what I can tell him and SLCPD are doing a lot better given all the surrounding circumstances. We can't let off the momentum. More is still needed.

My wife and I went to the Utah GOP Caucus tonight for the first time. I am now the new Salt Lake County delegate for our precinct and she is the new vice chair. I am tired of sitting on the sidelines watching our representatives not represent the interests of Utah citizens. I am not interested at all in getting into politics. I just want to be useful. Thank you to @Jensen_Utah @goud4utah @BradEBonham @NormieUtah @disagreebutter for raising awareness.
