The ending was bad but the real reason this show disappeared is even compared to its contemporaries, 30% of the jokes, mostly about women, aged like milk

Going off topic, but it's crazy how badly HIMYM flopped the landing. This show was a cultural phenomenon and then it just disappeared. Never hear anyone talking about it or watching re-runs. The ending re-contextualized what the whole series was about and made it less fun.

@Mid_NightCheese @StarTrekHeathen I literally just finished the series, again this day. I didn't watch over 200 episodes of tv just to critique it on Twitter. I watched it because I know I like it. If you can't see old media with a modern lens, that just means you haven't grown as a person since it aired.

@Mid_NightCheese @StarTrekHeathen It's fine to criticize shows for being problematic, or to enjoy those shows or to not enjoy shows. But context matters. Sometimes context can't be picked up by new viewers for things that happened relatively recently. You can continue to enjoy the show, but not all will.

@Anxious4Lyfe @mjpcters @pvrekhs Like at bare minimum have some webisodes, which were the style at the time, of Ted with the Mother and kids. Take a couple hours and an assistant with a handicam, Get 30 min of footage and then you'd have footage of them being a family.

I know this is a rough build of the game, but Wolverine should not be able to traverse around like this This illustrates how not every character can support an open world format, the traversal sucks, but it's just due to Wolverine not being a character with fun traversal
