Libertarians who believe the sole purpose of Libertarianism is maximising personal freedom are just economically literate anarcho-communists. Libertarianism at its deepest is letting things we did not design be. Something something taking Hayek very seriously.

Follow me if you’re an anti-transhumanist Libertarian. There needs to be more representation of technoskeptics among Libertarians.

@Inkiness110895 @LPCLC_TX @run_guns That’s what I mean, decentralised tribes are a kind of statelessness, some much more controlling than others. Left libertarians and other anarchists who want an uncontrolled revolution out of state hatred seem very silly.

@Inkiness110895 @LPCLC_TX @run_guns Interesting thought. No state exit 99% of time before farming, even after farming no state for more time than there has been state, free market must be a strict subset of statelessness. Do you expect a careful transition to not get another kind of anarchy?

@LPCLC_TX @Inkiness110895 @run_guns If the modern state does not depend upon ideology but power structures in which it would presumably be outcompeted by now if your ideology were true, what hope even is there in attempting to achieve anarchy?

@Inkiness110895 @run_guns Hoppes theories fundamentally ignore basic political power structures, and assume that control can be easily established, and blame can be easily cast. It assumes that the legitimacy or power of a government operates on a populist base, when this is never the case.

@MelGivson2 @6NewsAU There is no world in which Iran could have a sufficient military buildup to genuinely threaten the United States. Every time there is even an indication that they might try this or that facility just gets blown up.

@6NewsAU They've killed the man who was the human handbrake against the hardliners who wanted to go full nuclear proliferation. I hope his martyrdom leads to the leveling of the terrorist states, Israel and the US

@pcet2022 @1sum1else1 @AusPoll6 Jobseeker and the heaving abomination of the regulation-welfare state *is* the current economic system and it ought to be utterly abolished as soon as possible.

The Political Context Machine
Rubbish. Pauline Hanson absolutely supports the current economic system. Pauline Hanson supports dumping hundreds of thousands of Australians into unemployment and into grotesque levels of poverty on Jobseeker. As a mechanism to protect the profits of Foreign Corporations from Inflation in the Economy. Including for the 108,000 proud Australian Women and 92,000 proud Australian blokes aged 55-64 - forced into unemployment and into poverty on Jobseeker. Pauline Hanson does not support the Right of Australian Citizens to protect their own health, safety and dignity with Employment. "Australia First"? #auspol

@pcet2022 @1sum1else1 @AusPoll6 Hanson is a protectionist and does not believe in market solutions any more than labour. The liberals are more pro-market than One Nation.

@1sum1else1 @AusPoll6 To be clear - Pauline Hanson has no policies that protect the Right of Australian Citizens to Employment, Housing, Healthcare and Education. Pauline Hanson supports the current economic system of "the market" deciding what Australians can and can't access. Australia First?

@CuriousPolite @thmsenglsh @Austroalian @AusPoll6 A pause is exactly what people want, the issue libertarians have is America... their Libertarian Party is basically an open borders, pro trans, pro drugs party. The last few people put up as candidates for the Libertarian Party in USA were pro BLM open borders nutters.
