Newcastle United official has communicated to media tonight that there is no gentleman’s agreement Sandro Tonali can leave this summer if club do not qualify for Europe. That does not mean he won’t leave but he hasn’t said he wants to go and neither has there been any contact with #nufc from interested clubs at this stage. It’s only March but yet another week of stories linking Newcastle players with a move. Going to be a long summer 😬

So let me get this right, he has the: - most POTY’s - most golden boots - most games in a row with G/A - most open play goals in a season - most open play assists in a season - most G/A in a single season - largest individual winning streak 😭 your favs can’t compare

An underrated Salah record I don’t think gets broken: most consecutive Premier League appearances with a win which is 33. It began on March 10, 2019 vs Burnley and ended on February 24, 2020 vs West Ham He missed 3 games, including the Man Utd draw that stopped the team's streak

This guy’s a troll yet has a better read of the situation than most Liverpool fans. Fair play 😂

It’s clear what’s happened in the Salah exit now. They tried to force him out in Jan to get the wages off the books so they could afford Guehi & Semenyo (2 players they badly needed) he got wind of it & said no while fighting back in the press because they tried to get rid of him in the press with Carragher as their hatchet man. They want to get his wages off the books in the Summer for a Saudi fee but he’s refused to sign anywhere & threatened to sit his contract out in that final year. They are so desperate to get his wages off the books with the possibility of no CL Football next year that they agreed to tear up his contract so he can chose where he wants to go in the Summer & coin it in as a free agent, hisv Van Djik, Wirtz & Isak’s wages are why they were so hamstrung in that Jan window. Liverpool miss out on a fee but save on the wages, Salah isn’t forced to a club who can afford the fee, he gets to pick the club he wants and get paid for it as a free. Salah won them the league and deserved that contract but they overplayed their hand in Jan & saw the nasty side of Mo. They now have to find over 100m to replace him, they need to get into the CL or they will find that difficult for financial reasons and attracting quality reasons. Salah played a blinder, Liverpool lost again, add it to the 10 league defeats this year.

I think what I love most is how nobody saw it coming. He just kept scoring and scoring and by the end of that season people were saying he was the best player in the world. That, for me, made it all the more sweeter.

Salah’s debut season was one of the happiest times of my life watching this sport, there’s something about the come up, winning stuff was a relief but the adrenaline just before that was unbelievable
