Hey authors! If it's one thing I've taken away from every author event, it's this: Don't spend too much time on your phone. I've watched people pass by because an author is too busy on their phone. I would probably do the same, tbh. #WritingCommunity #AuthorsOfTwitter

@TheCleftonTwain Yep, exactly. I’m sort of glad I use my phone for Square transactions. Keeps me from wanting to fuck around on it. Lol

@AuthorConnorP Oh definitely we all cope in our own ways. Handwork is far more approachable than staring at a phone for sure. Gotta do what we gotta do.

@TheCleftonTwain That’s always the best thing. It’s weird but seeing sometimes helps me stay in the moment. My ADHD has been so bad lately. 😩

@AuthorConnorP The ladies next to me were selling stuff from a bakery and one of them was crocheting. I don't knit anymore but I probably would've brought something to work on. As it is, I force myself to simply be in the moment and pay attention.
