So! I finished him. Designing a character for me is often like the process of writing and developing them: it's slow going, always changing, always evolving. The general idea is the same, but there's always room for improvement. This is Etar, from my debut novel ✨ Starseer ✨

@EnnsLindy I generally don't review books I didn't finish, but if I did, I wouldn't rate them, just write the review. That way you don't drive down the star rating of the book, which is generally what people see first.

Real question #indieauthors: if someone DNFd your book, would you still want them to leave a review? There are some positive things to say about the book in question, but maybe the author would rather I didn’t leave a review given the criticism/DNF. 😅

I just rewatched The Man in the Iron Mask for the first time since it came out, and I loved every second of these amazing actors saying the cheesiest lines of their careers. What a blast the 90s were. 🥲

Day 25 Ocean’s echo Another one of my favourite book from last year. The way I want to shove this book into everyone tbr. It’s so well written, the romance is secondary and the plot. THE PLOT IS SO WELL DONE. My poor book flew through my flat when I was reading it 🫡

Please know that cats are NOT a major cause of toxoplasmosis in people. The CDC confirms it is highly unlikely that you will be exposed to the parasite even if touching an infected cat. It is vastly more likely you will encounter toxoplasmosis by eating undercooked meat.

Day 13 Starseer Ive said it multiple time but Starseer is a love letter to the fantasy genre. Etar the mc is a cinnamon roll and it’s impossible to not love him. Hans, his love interest is the sweetest. And Jossan is literally the love of my life.

This might be the dumbest thing I ever tweet because there's probably a good explanation, but if the pressure is that strong so far under the water, how do fish survive down there? Is it because of the air pocket inside the vessel?
