@AuthorSamKnight's #writingtips: A story written on legal pad is just as good as one written on a $5,000 laptop. You don't have to be in a coffee shop to write. You don't have to smoke, drink, or be isolated. A lot of things are just window dressing to make you feel like writing.

@AuthorSamKnight's #writingtips: Some writers feel they can't write a short story. Think of them as a joke, which is a kind of short story. Write the setup and then the punchline. It doesn't have to be funny, just have a punch at the end. You can always expand from there. Try it!
