I worked in IT at two Universities from 1981-2021, I know of what I speak very well. I have two kids, one finished an eletrical engineering degree where I worked, one did not finish their BA in a city 200 miles away. I paid plenty, neither kid had real scholarships. Elementary and secondary schooling are rights, post secondary is elective, no darn right. Education for STEM, who students provide critical services is heavily subsidized already. But radical fields that serve little purpose? If you want to pay for students to learn about underwater basket weaving, go for it, but you're not getting my money Angela.

I’m having issues because of lack of support in the classroom, not because the classroom teacher is incapable or doesn’t want to support kids with disabilities. Teachers are spread too thin and it’s not fair to the teachers or students.
