Time truly flies, and my heart aches a little every time I realize how fast it’s going 😭. It feels like just yesterday David took his first brave steps into showing lambs—not because he dreamed of ribbons or trophies, but simply to belong, to find his place in a community that welcomed him exactly as he is. Autism may mean he never steps onto a sports field or joins the usual crowds, but it hasn’t dimmed his light one bit. Instead, it’s opened doors to a world that’s uniquely his: the gentle rhythm of farm life, the soft wool under his hands, the quiet joy of watching those lambs grow under his care. Let him show every single lamb his heart desires. Let him tend to every pepper plant, coaxing them from seed to harvest with that same tender patience and wonder he brings to everything. In this lifetime, give him all the space to chase what makes his soul sing—no limits, no apologies, just pure, unfiltered joy in the things that light him up.
