This week is #AutismAcceptanceWeek and I'm celebrating local South Shields-based CIC @Autism_Able. They do incredible work to create a more inclusive and accepting world for all neurodivergent people - not just today, but everyday🥳

Today, our #LifeSkills group were back in the kitchen, this time making sausage and mash 🥔🥕🥦🌭 They peeled, chopped and cooked everything themselves, and worked together to develop their #independence, functional and kitchen skills. Well done, everyone 😊👏 #AutismAble

Today is World #AutismAcceptanceDay and the start of #AutismAcceptanceWeek! Lots of our members are autistic, and we are proud to be part of a global effort to create a more inclusive and accepting world for all neurodivergent - not just today, but everyday ❤️

Last week, our Youth & Outreach Provision Team Leader, Sarah Windle, attended the @NCS Partner Conference. It was a hugely inspiring day filled with remarkable people, presentations, speeches, and workshops. We're so excited to be continuing to develop our youth offer! #NCS

For #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek, our Express Yourself Social Club members took part in meaningful conversations about what neurodiversity means to them. From these discussions, they made brain collages filled with the unique words they came up with 🧠💬 Well done, everyone 👏
