ATTENTION: Anyone know about starting a punk house, artist collective, activist group, an intentional community, or any combo of these? I'm looking to start an artivist home where like-minded creatives live 2gther & work to create affordable housing & higher disability income. 🧵

My recreation of "Flower Thrower" by Banksy. The original, the man poised with flowers, was made in the West Bank in 2003. It represents hope, peace & defiance against oppression. I remade it with a watermelon, a symbol of Palestinian pride. No one is free until everyone is free

I temporarily posted a pic of a guy tonight harassing me at Pride bcs I feared for my safety & wanted to make sure if something happened, there'd be record of him. Then I realized I left here 2 months ago suicidal, & not one person here searched for me. Guess there goes that. 🤦‍♀️

When you're disabled and dependent on a govt that doesn't allow even the absolute bare minimum of existence, this become an impossibility. You are forced into environments relying on abusive relatives, dangerous roommates, soul destroying homeless shelters. You never find peace.

I don't know if there are any "inherents" or not, but the way numerous societies have developed over the millennia is hypocritical, murderous & uncaring. I salute those who continue to fight for humanity, but I can't anymore. I don't believe there is hope. We are now too evil.

@dominicwhovian5 Not really, because I'm not in Toronto, and never want to end up in a shelter again, especially there! The "help" they offer is institutional and damaging.

Does ANYONE have any leads on how I can escape my situation?!!!!!! I am desperate! I scared I'm not going to make it to the end of the week! Please somebody fucking help!

@AutisticGothic What exactly would be helpful to you right now .I am just not sure exactly what can be of help to you in your present situation and am just hoping that perhaps if we know of anything that may alleviate what you are going through then perhaps we may be able to help you in some way

@AutisticGothic It depends on where you are and your age and to some degree, your gender. If you are escaping abuse, you can look at shelters. Your city may have a direct phone number for this sort of stuff. My DMs are open. ❤️

@CharcoalEpitaph I found a fun app called drawzie. It's like pictionary, where you draw pictures and people have to guess. Looks like you can create private rooms (though not sure how).
