@PapaMario7 @MrHooboMaster And finding a reviewer who is honest and also likes the things you do is personal and not something easy. That's why actual gamejournalism died. They don't put people on the front who actually game. Most of these people have zero affinity with actual gamers.

@PapaMario7 @MrHooboMaster They still had to disclose it was an ad. The FTC in that situation ruled that the disclosing wasn't adequate but that doesn't change the fact that we knew they were doing an AD, genuinely or otherwise. The second it says ad in the title or anywhere you should know it's not real.

So I gotta ask.. Why do youtubers that do the exact same thing as "game journalists" (but in video form) think they're somehow superior to game journalists? If anything youtubers in general has less education and a way more reasons to outright lie to get liked and easy views.

@LegacyKillaHD I predicted after the preview that this is one that game journalists will loathe. There is zero hand holding and even at the preview event I witnessed several journalists from big outlets getting stuck in the tutorial puzzle for 45 plus minutes...

@AutixTheCore @yugopnik It is the unsaid implication of her demands. She doesn't want Cubans to die because she wants westerners to die but wants Communists/Islamists to live. If a bunch of Israelis or Americans were in danger, she wouldn't care.

@eneri74362847 @NoQuarterSoft I compare it to a test drive with a car. It's basically a demo you get to play but you have limits and are checked that you don't just abuse the demo whereas piracy doesn't have any of these checks.

@AutixTheCore @NoQuarterSoft even if comparing to piracy it's not even close. when pirating something, you know specifically what and from whom you copy and may eventually pay for it with the AI generator the origin is nonexistent and you cannot support the origins in any way even if you wanted

@i9241 @yugopnik Kinda wrong here, If she says right now we need to shut down all oil supplies with no adequate replacement then I don't support that at all. I do agree that IF there is one we should invest in the transition. But since there isn't one we shouldn't let people die for it.

@eneri74362847 @NoQuarterSoft There's multiple reasons why people don't like AI ofcourse but one a lot of artists give me is that the training of the AI to make pictures uses their data which they didn't consent for and say this is stealing. Isn't this the same with videogame piracy?

@eneri74362847 @NoQuarterSoft Yea I got that lol :p And that's fine. I genuinely believe there's a difference in what people see when looking at AI. Some see the what is now dubbed 'uncanny valley' effect. Some don't. But I really wanna zoom in on the piracy and stealing thing.

If you think those matter in a culture vs belief systems, class systems, cultural genderroles, ect then culture doesnt mean anything anymore.

@eneri74362847 @NoQuarterSoft Because one of the big things I see Anti AI people throw around is that it 'steals from artists'. But when you say 'you do not deprive the owner of the goods he owns and can infinitely replicate' this is what AI does. It does not deprive the owner.
