@AR5G0ETIA Retro reproductions (Iver Johnson, Plainfield, etc) are pretty affordable where I'm at, but don't sell due to their poor reputation. I've heard the iai ones are decent, but the one I handled didn't make a good first impression.

3000 dollars for a not great reproduction of a rifle that already had a mixed reputation to begin with. Welcome to the current milsurp market. They're not even rare, they made like 8 million of these things.

@AutoMagArchive Looks like black paint on the factory polycarbonate furniture. Factory black polycarbonate furniture was made as test sets, but I've never seen a set on a gun. Clear sets and at least one pink set were made too.

@ExtremleyMike @War_Kraken19 For the pittance I'd get for a used Taurus, it just wouldn't be worth it. Plus I like the PT-99, it hasn't given me any problems and it was there when I was going through my John Woo phase.
