@Joey2KYT I hate that people think steals and blocks equal good or bad defense. Those can be at realistic amounts and defense can still be OP. 2k has always needed to speed up lateral movement for defense. Maybe even have a quick first step type badge like offense has.

Defense was worse in 25 btw You just didn’t notice because people missed open 🤷🏻‍♂️

@BlaqKobra How hard is it for 2k to make people shoot a higher percentage of layups and close shots next to the rim than pull up fades from 3?? Wouldn’t that make sense? Larger green window around the rim for all shots, smaller on moving long range jumpers.

From now on, the only layups I'm doing is floaters. At least the green window is pure for those.

@Chef_Cruz2K I played some Proving Grounds this weekend and the game plays so much better than the REC. It’s too bad there are way less people in there so the wait times take longer and you play the same people. They should put the same sliders in REC…

I have fun on 26 don’t get me wrong. But i just saw someone give up a wide open 3 so he could fade, and he clanked it. This game letting people get away with bad habits is gonna cook the community if the training wheels ever do come off lol

@GARCELLx It can be annoying for real, sometimes I stop playing because it’s just too much focus and energy needed to stay locked in. But at the same time if I was a bronze or silver tier player, I wouldn’t wanna be playing purples and reds.. It is what it is..

2k up the VC per game if were keeping SBMM. I am playing nothing but purple plates right now. Its GAME 7 of the NBA FINALS every single game. Can we relax this 😂apologize for the energy but playing sweats every single game is not it. @zRico809 @JusteReacts I am 6’10 with 82 perim D and 93 block and jump in the face of a 7’4” and they still hit the shot over and over again. Shit 3 if my teammates all jumped at this dude while hugging him and it didn’t make a difference. So if you’re against a good one, gl.

No disrespect whatsoever to @JusteReacts but I’m tired of seeing this excuse whenever people talking about doing literally anything to stop 7’4s from shooting over people no matter height, contest, or rating/badge level. It’s always Wemby, their slow, yatta yatta. But the fact is their broken, even if they’re slow on defense they get crazy jump animations so what does it mater plus some of them are moving like guards so 🤷🏾‍♂️

Nah bc I’ve been playing on 99 pass acc for a few days. Grinding playmaking challenges. Tried to go back to 85 and it made 85 feel mad slow. Idk if I can go back 😭

@b1s If you are a step or two back, cool gotta jump. If you are IN their face, hand up should be able to get a good contest, realistically even if they have a decent height advantage on you. IRL that hand up would be pressuring the ball as they pull up.

I personally don’t like the idea to have to jump to contest every single thing but I’m just a dirty casual

@ogbobby2k @GARCELLx I have noticed for interceptions, the timing window is smaller. You have to really anticipate it well or you’re just going to tip it. When I time it perfectly. I’m getting the grabs.

Yal want to sit here and cry about steals don’t you know you don’t need a high steal just go HOF PERIMETER OR LEGEND, which means you HAVE way more attributes to use on your MyPlayer which is a GOOD thing! play the hip and stop all that reaching, bump steals from the hip is better than on ball plucks, counter the guard moves, they’ll lose the ball #NBA2k26
