I officially retired from @Ford Motor Company yesterday! It’s been a rewarding, challenging and fulfilling journey! I wish I could thank everyone who helped along the way! Thank you to the @UAW and our @Uaw249 Leadership for the dedicated and outstanding support over the decades for myself and all my Union brothers and sisters! The definition of family and unity is @UAW! Thank you to @Ford for the opportunity 30 years ago to build an amazing career, family and life! Thank you to my mom & dad and entire family for their support over the years! Thank you to my father in law Ron for helping a young irresponsible kid get his foot in the door 30 years ago! (no hiring fairs back then.) Thank you to my wife Tiffany, Logan & Luke and daughter Emma for dealing with 5AM start times and 60 hour work weeks! I’m excited to have finished this chapter and can’t wait to begin the next chapter in my journey!

12 years ago, I welcomed a smart young lady into my class as a freshman. Today, I step into her classroom on her first day as a teacher & mine as an admin. Welcome, Miss Sharkey! To top it off, Mr. Keller, a former student in my school is now my colleague. @RaytownSchools
