@KoiClosedEye ["Amanojaku? Why do I feel like I've heard of someone like that recently before?"]
Wow! You stopped even the most stubborn youkai from disturbing your temple?
That's impressive! Knights really are the guardians of farmlands...
English

@AutumnDelicacy “…Does stopping a Reverse Amanojaku who threatened to target the Temple count as such..?”
“Its one of the things I’ve been having to deal with, these past few days..”

English

@KoiClosedEye [She stood there in amazement. Looks like Koishi's elaboration of her occupation didn't quite reach Minoriko's ears.]
You must have many triumphs under your belt, right? Knights protect the land of farmers from evil, right?
[Looks like she listened to romanticised stories.]
English

@AutumnDelicacy “The Temple has its own definition of what It means for me to be their Knight after all..”
“And it doesn’t mean having such an aggressive personality, riding a horse, or anything like that. I simply just protect the Temple is all..”

English

@KoiClosedEye [Minoriko, taken aback by her response, processed her answer for a bit... then decided to ask for clarification.
She heard of western knights from anecdotes of outsiders, but never would have imagined one be here.]
... knight? Not a jockey, right? The sword-wielding knight?
English

@AutumnDelicacy “You’re not wrong to think that. Yes I am.”
“Not only that, But I’m the Temples Knight actually..”
(She would tilt her head as soon as she was immediately asked that question.)

English

@Sanae_mlemmlem Of course, baked sweet potatoes are the best~
[Finishing up on dusting the shrine, she peeked inwards for a moment before looking around and seeing the pile of leaves next to Sanae.]
I can actually see the entirety of the shrine grounds! Thank you very much, Kochiya.
English

@AutumnDelicacy Heheh... I wouldn't imagine locking myself up and missing out on your potatoes!
[There's now a big pile of leaves next to her..]
Look at that! I think I did good! I bet a fairy would love to jump into this!
English

@KoiClosedEye Oh, that temple?
I did hear a lot about it and youkai monks-in-training, but I never visited before.
I don't know where it exactly is.
With that tendril eye and your association with Myouren Temple, it's not bold to assume you're one of their youkai disciples, right?
English

@AutumnDelicacy “I’m sure you know where the Myouren Temple is, right..?”
“It has its own garden.. It should be quite big enough as well.”

English

@KoiClosedEye [Disregarding the short apology, she proudly states,]
Then as the goddess of harvest, I will bless your autumn crops! Place your faith in me, and you'll have bumper crops by harvest time.
Just direct me to where your farm is.
[She flashed a smile.]
English

@AutumnDelicacy (Seeing her eyes furrow, she immediately would try to show some of her short guilt)
I’m sorry-
(She would immediately stay silent as Minoriko changes the subject)
But yeah.. Thats what I’m looking forward to. I think that kind of help would be really nice.
English

@Sanae_mlemmlem They really needed the presence of powerful figures like yourself to keep their pride in check... now, they understand that there are other stuff to enjoy other than within their rigid system!
English

@AutumnDelicacy [She gives a bright smile and nods, pausing her raking for a tiny bit..]
I know right! I never understood closed societies, they think they are keeping their greatness to themselves, but instead they are limiting themselves to enjoy other people's things too!
English

@KoiClosedEye [Her eyebrows furrowed a bit.]
Ah...
it's a shrine, despite its size.
[Upon the mention of pumpkins, she gleefully spoke,]
... you're really looking forward to fresh pumpkins by this autumn's harvest, aren't you?
Why don't I help you with my blessings?
English

@AutumnDelicacy I.. never had an idea that this was a shrine to begin with. But I guess I just might be.
Blessed Harvests may come with more fresh and ripe pumpkins, and thats something I look forward to.
English

@Sanae_mlemmlem Your arrival into the mountain really loosened up that uptight youkai society. It allows for more people to enjoy autumn's harvest together!
I'd personally say it was worth it.
English

@AutumnDelicacy [Letting out an nervous chuckle..]
Y-Yeah I wasn't really thrilled to see them back then at all...!
But I feel like it was all worth it... Even Youkai Mountain is more of an open society place than it was before!
English

@Sanae_mlemmlem [She froze up a bit.]
Yes... when the shrine maiden and her witch companion beat me and my sister up in an effort to get to your shrine.
How heartless of them to not heed a goddess' words~
English

@AutumnDelicacy It's doing great of course! The Moriya Shrine keeps on thriving!
[She chuckles a bit, then smiles..]
The chores lately have been a bit harder than usual but hey, it's all worth it. Especially when you compare how it is now to when we first arrive!
English

@KoiClosedEye It's a relief to hear that...
[She looked down, pensive.]
Sadly, our shrine is not as significant as the others, so it's quite obscure. It isn't much of a surprise if it's someone's first time seeing it.
... Have you come for this year's blessings for the autumn harvest?
English

@AutumnDelicacy (She would look around, taking a good look at the Shrine that is currently being maintained.)
“…It does. I don’t come here out as often so this is my first time seeing this..”
English

@Sanae_mlemmlem Mhm.
It's all thanks to Shizuha that the shrine is painted in such a nice orange-red color scheme...
... How's the Moriya Shrine doing, Kochiya? It's doing better than the other shrine maiden's, isn't it?
English

@AutumnDelicacy Ah I see! I just thought it's a special occasion since I thought it looked pretty new! Like it was painted freshly too!
[She continues to collect the leaves..]
But you're right, it's better to be responsible and do your chores instead of letting the place reach a bad condition!
English

@Sanae_mlemmlem [Minoriko continued with dusting the shrine.]
Not really.
Me and my sister takes care of it from time to time, even if it doesn't get any visitors.
It's our very own shrine, so why not keep it nice and tidy?
Cleaning it is apart of our weekly routine.
English

@AutumnDelicacy Sounds easy enough! Easier than shoveling snow!
[Sanae goes towards the trees, spotting the rake and grabbing it. She immediately gets to work!]
So is there any special occasion for the shrine tidying up?
English

@Sanae_mlemmlem I'm not much good myself... I only barely maintain the shrine unlike Shizuha, who knows a lot more about cleaning and making it look pretty.
I think you could help clear the leaves around the shrine; there's a rake somewhere near one of the trees to your right.
English

@AutumnDelicacy Great! I'm very good with shrine work if you couldn't tell! Because... I'm a shrine maiden!
[She gives a proud smile, and then turns enthusiastic...]
So... What's my first task??
English

@Sanae_mlemmlem Sure!
Your help is much appreciated, Kochiya!
[In response to Sanae offering to help, she beamed with joy.]
English

@AutumnDelicacy So it's like you guys are both the deities and the shrine maidens... Hmmm... That's a bit like me in a way!
Would you like some help actually?
English

@TrickyDancers [She stood in astonishment at the clean shrine.]
Woah... it's cleaner than how it originally looked!
That's impressive... your crops will be certainly be blessed— no faith needed!
["Cleaning me and my sister's shrine is enough faith anyways..."]
English

@AutumnDelicacy 🍃: Heh, problems come in many versions, but anyways... This dusty problem just needs a small flick, and that's done~
[With a flick of her tail, the shrine is all clean as she takes a quick swig from her gourd.]
Ahhh~
English

@TrickyDancers I appreciate the help; it means a lot to me and my sister.
"A problem shared is a problem halved" is how the saying goes, isn't it?
[Double standards, really.]
English

@AutumnDelicacy 🍃: Heh, thanks.
If ya need a helping hand, just hit this ol' tanuki up. Always feels good to have someone sharing your problems.
🎭: ...
[Kokoro seems to went back into silence mode as she stares at a passing butterfly.]
English

@TrickyDancers Ah...
[The brief respite from Kokoro's gentle demands to understand Minoriko allowed for her to quickly cool down.]
My, I think I lost my cool there~
I'm sorry.
[In the hopes of switching up the topic, she turned to Mamizou.]
... here, I can help clean it off.
English

@AutumnDelicacy 🍃: (A guarded heart, eh? Heh, sweet. More adversity for Kokoro to overcome.)
🎭: ...
It shall do.
Kokoro doesn't understand, but... It would have to do.
Mamizou? Kokoro's done here.
🍃: Aye, one sec~ That there is one hell of a persistent spit of dirt.
English

@TrickyDancers [... Minoriko dropped the act, driven by her short temper.]
I refuse.
Lingering around in the village and mingling with humans does not make me less of a goddess.
What I feel isn't something you have to sympathise with; you just have to take my blessings and be happy.
English

@AutumnDelicacy 🎭: While that's a factor, Kokoro believes that your mind does affect the blessing you give.
Clearly, something is up. Please, tell Kokoro. Kokoro can help.
English

@TrickyDancers [Minoriko's eyebrows twitched a bit on the mention of harvest. Is it frustration?]
... The harvest I bring depends on the faith that people has on me.
My blessing should— ahem...
[She noticed her stern attitude, and changed it up to be more lax.]
—not be affected by emotions.
English

@AutumnDelicacy 🎭: You're wrong, miss Minoriko.
[Kokoro grabbed the materialized masks and merged back with them.]
Emotions... Dictate how we feel, how wr react. It affects how do we work.
...Kokoro has a right to be concerned. Share your woes.
Maybe it can lead to a better harvest.
English
