Reminder for CCS families: Friday, May 22, will be an abbreviated day for students and the last day of the school year. CMS and CHS will dismiss at 10:30 a.m. Elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. Thank you for helping us finish the school year strong! 💙

We had a busy day at The Denning Center. We had 1st graders from Arnold having a fun-filled day in our walking park and CHS students working on our front mural. School may be winding down but we are ramping up for a busy summer ☀️

We had some little artists on site to help us with our special garden art project. We can’t wait for you to see him {HINT: His name is Gary 🐛}!

Our outdoor space is going to be in full bloom just in time for the start of next school year. Miss Lisa has been working with Coach Leon Brown in our raised garden beds. Thanks to Charleston Bait and Tackle for the plant donation 🌱 💐 #growingcommunity

Today our team attended The Chattanooga Food Bank Hunger Relief Conference and participated in a panel about student hunger in our community. It’s always great to share our story and learn from others on how to better serve our families.

We introduced the Raider Reading Roadshow this school year and have had a great time visiting schools. Be on the lookout for us this summer as we pass out books to our eager readers 📚

We are starting an art project in our garden area. Thanks to Jackie Evans Trucking Company for donating rocks to add a special character {HINT: He’s Very Hungry 🐛} to our green space

Our interns are so vital to the full operation of our market. Brandi and Addison from The Trousdale School do such a great job restocking our clothing market each week.
