Since the invention of ailerons, it is rare to find an aircraft without them. However, the "Trident", an experimental supersonic aircraft from the 1950s, does not have them. All of the aircraft's controls are located in its tailplane, for roll, pitch and yaw. © images défense

The creation and animation of passengers contemporary to the period is developing quite quickly now. In another week there should be a good selection to add to the airport scenes.

The character development is now providing more realistic pilots. The animations will be extended shortly

That classic Mirage III/5 silhouette looked good in any paint scheme, and it looked like fast even when on the ground. Lovely design.

We spent a great day charting the roots of the Easy Company story in Aldbourne today. It is always fascinating to consider the relationship between US service personnel like the US 101st Airborne Division and the British communities on which they were billeted. #WW2TRAVEL
