Do people really believe… or are they just afraid not to? Because when you strip it down, a lot of belief doesn’t start with evidence, it starts with fear; Fear of being wrong… Fear of punishment… Fear of losing everything you’ve been taught to hold onto.. And the real twist… most don’t even follow what they claim to believe… So what is it then? Conviction? Or just fear… wearing the mask of faith?

Why can’t you, as a believer, just enjoy your life and your idea of the afterlife in peace? Why do you feel the need to preach to anyone? If heaven is that amazing, then gatekeep it, enjoy it on your own…

@Olu_Utd14 Everyone is born with a conscience. It's what happens along the way that can cause someone to go awry. Brains can get manipulated by many things, trauma, dysfunction, and including the lies we're told by religious and political leaders.

A simple question: if religion disappeared tomorrow, would humans suddenly lose the ability to love, care, and find meaning? Or since we can't have morals outside religion? What suddenly happens?
