Like this post if you're going to support the animators of the leaked Legend of Aang movie by either buying the DVD/Bluray when it drops

🧵 here’s a thread on each individual that participated on the “Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender” movie and their previous works. I’ll be updating this as more people from the staff come out and announce that they worked on the film.

Paramount has exactly 2 days to fix this with a marketing campaign that uses this leak to create hype. Easiest way is “There is no leak in Ba Sing Se” with a promo photo. Then release a trailer a couple days later and use “Paramount has invited you to Lake Laogai”

We worked on the aang movie for years with the expectation that’d we’d get to celebrate all of our hard work in theaters.. just to see people unceremoniously leak the film and pass our shots around on twitter like candy.. (1/3)

Avatar The Last Airbenders 100% could have been the next Star Wars if it was handled even a shred better…

Main negatives are the VA, and retreading plots from Korra, especially season 2

The leaked Aang movie is INSANE... I am going out on a limb to say the best looking animation of all time, they NAILED IT. If you're a fan of the comics, you are rewarded. If you like Korra, also rewarded. Overall great movie, a love letter to fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The Avatar Aang movie’s animation makes The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim look lame in comparison. The animation here is out of this world, easily among the top 10 best I’ve ever seen, on par with the best from Ufotable and MAPPA, if not even better.
