there’s one thing about AI agents that keeps bothering me. we keep talking about them like the only question is how fast we can deploy them. nobody is really talking about what happens when they get it wrong. not wrong like a bad trade call. wrong like Lobstar Wilde, an experimental AI trading agent on Solana that misread a query in february and sent its entire treasury, around $250,000, to a random person on X in one transaction. no confirmation. no flag. just gone. and honestly, the mistake itself wasn’t even the part that bothered me most. it was the silence after. nobody had a clean answer for who was responsible. the developer? the person who deployed it? the model? the protocol? when a human makes a mistake, there’s usually someone to call. when an agent makes one onchain, the chain just records what happened. i’m not saying don’t build with agents. i use them too. but the accountability question doesn’t have an answer yet. because web3 taught us that trustless doesn’t always mean safe. sometimes it just means irreversible.

I won’t lie, the $5 part is what caught my attention first.
