COMMON ENEMIES DON'T MAKE ALLIES Groups like the KKK, Patriot front, Active Clubs and the Hammerskins may use the Confederate flag, but their central goals do NOT prioritize Southern Heritage or our shared history. These are race-centric organizations that are willing to overlook Black, Jewish, Hispanic, Native American and Asian contributions to Southern Independence. These organizations are a terrible vehicle for Southern issues, as their stated goals are intentionally conflated with Southern goals by a media who is happy to demonize EVERY Southerner as a race-centric white supremacist. We have to find better front facing organizations for Southern issues.
