Imagine being his father. Knowing what your son did to an innocent man and to the country. Knowing your son will rightfully face the death penalty for an unspeakable atrocity. And despite this, you are the one to make your son turn himself in, even driving him to the station, while contemplating where your parenting went wrong. It must have been the most difficult moment in the father's life. But he did the right thing.
