The crazy thing about Chelsea is that, they can be in their ‘banter era’ and rough their way to win big trophies. In recent years, look at all the big titles they’ve won, play rubbish, lose win-able games, sack the coach, everyone starts laughing at them, they employ another coach then BOOM! They win the next big trophy as underdog! Arsenal have been the best team in the world for 5 years (according to their fans) and they’ve won nothing and nobody dare say it’s their banter era. Because “Arteta is doing a great job” Bottom line, Chelsea no get banter era! That small blue club ehn, i don’t understand them!

Baddy has been very supportive and always supports his mutuals. I remember when I first got here, he gave me a shoutout for free without collecting a dime. He also comes to my DMs to engage with me without me begging. He even quotes me when I don’t ask. Elon money came at the right time, and I’ll be supporting the second-leg return match taking place in Egypt with ₦1,000,000. Life was leading you in the first leg, and I hope you come out victorious in the second leg and come back stronger.

Lol The tweet expressly says analysis and see what this one is saying. I stand by my analysis that triggered all the insults: If elections are conducted today, opposition's strongest foot is ADC with Atiku as flagbearer and PO as running mate, and the current chance is about 40-45%. Emotions won't change that. Insulting the pundit won't change that. I called AFCON top 8 before last AFCON, putting Nigeria at 3rd. Football minders did not come for me for putting Nigeria at 3rd rather than 1st. And like I caveated in the analysis people are crying over, 10 months is a long time in politics, so things can change. The analyst is not your problem. In football or in politics. Direct your anger to politicians. Facts, not emotions.

The Federal Government’s National Laureate Prize is one of the more serious ideas to come out of the education space in a while. I am impressed genuinely. This is not because of the money, although ₦5 million, ₦10 million, and ₦20 million will get attention. But because of what the policy is trying to do underneath. For a very long time, Nigeria has treated academic work as a requirement to complete, not a resource to use. Thousands of dissertations are written every year, bound, submitted, and forgotten. This initiative tries to interrupt that cycle by reframing the thesis as something else: a potential input into national development. When the Minister says we should not celebrate influencers at the expense of innovators, he is not just making a passing comment. He is trying to rebalance what society chooses to reward. Incentives shape behaviour and truly, behaviour shapes systems. But recognising research is not the same as using it. The harder question is what happens after the award. Does the winning work get translated into policy? Commercialised? Without that second step, this risks becoming a well-branded awards system rather than a pipeline for anything. Nigeria does not lack research. It lacks systems that connect knowledge to action. The idea is sound. The execution will determine everything. Well done!
Dr. Tunji Alausa@DrTunjiAlausa

This is how we build Nigeria into a knowledge-based economy. By elevating our students to the status of celebrated National Laureates, we are ensuring that research and academic excellence receive the national prestige and financial reward they deserve—recognising intellectual capital as a critical driver of national development.

Let me clarify. The fault was mine. I absolutely thought the fee was for both legs. In fact, that delayed this fund raising because I needed to get clarity myself. It turned out first donation was for one leg. I apologize for the misconception. It was not intentional. Thank you for your faith and kindnesses 🙏🏾

You're deliberately being malicious. I've seen your response all over the comments. You're irrelevant, but I'll respond because of the public. This was my conversation with @the_beardedsina and @_belikebaddy. This was 3 weeks ago. Check the dates. If you're not satisfied with the explanation, I'm sure they would give a more detailed explanation. I take responsibility for informing the public that the funds raised was for both legs. I was under the impression it was. You'll not call me a thief. I didn't receive any of those funds into my account. I have raised over N500m on this app and accounted for everything. You won't besmirch my name because of N22m. Myself and @the_beardedsina have remained unsullied in every fund raising. We dont get paid, we dont get commission, we don't get cut. Nobody is stealing your money. You'll not call us thieves.

Omo I go talk my mind o, i can remember vividly that we contributed money for the two legs the first time, it was when he got there that they said that he can’t undergo surgery for the both at once as it will be risky for him, correct me if I’m wrong.

I remember during my university days at Ekiti State University, I had a hostel mate whose parents had to struggle for months, sometimes starving to raise just ₦50K for his tuition. Whenever he knocked on my door, I already knew it was to ask for garri. So I would often leave a bowl of garri at my doorstep for him. At one point, he drank garri so often that he vomited it. Fast forward to now, on Sunday, he reached out to me from the United States. He is currently a Proffesor of Physics at Arkansas State University. He reflected on those difficult times, how I used to give him ₦30 for bike transport to and from lectures, how I would take him along to my girlfriend’s hostel so we could eat swallow, egusi spiced with sawa fish together, and how we would go to Ado Market to buy those ₦500 starchy shirts for both of us. He remembered how I would wake him up for compulsory night classes in the cold Ado nights, and how, when he fell sick, I used my own tuition fee to pay his medical bills, then lied to my mother just to get another one. He recounted everything… and then sent me ₦500K “to buy some green bottles.” And that’s just a fraction of what he has done for me in recent times. Never look down on anyone. Today’s struggle can become tomorrow’s success story. I think kindness is an investment that never loses value.

So you went to a man’s house who’s not your brother or in anyway related you. You went there, entered kitchen and ate to your satisfaction, after eating you went to the bathroom to bath, went to his wardrobe carried his best polo, wore it and lie down without wearing pants. When he wanted to touch you, you removed his hand and told him you are not in the mood and that you didn’t know he’ll ask for s3x if you come. My question now is, why did you go there in the first place, knowing the guy is not impotent? Did you expect him to look at your face all through the night and not knack you?
