Goodbye," and hung up Producers wanted a more grounded, realistic "Bourne-style" approach for the franchise following the critically panned, over-the-top elements of Die Another Day. Reports suggested negotiations reached an impasse due to Brosnan's high salary demands for a fifth film. Brosnan was approaching 50, and producers were interested in a younger lead to sustain the franchise long-term. Brosnan later described the experience as a "titanic jolt to the system" and felt he was "kicked to the curb," though he eventually found a sense of liberation and peace with the decision

Marco Van Basten was the superior centre forward ( line leading, focal point, reliable in the box). R9 was the bridge between a centre forward and modern forward with his work outside the box. But Van Basten is the finest example of a centre forward arguably in the history of the game. R9 one of the great forwards.
