In June 2024, the judge ruled that Laura was never pregnant with Clayton's child(ren), dismissed the case, found she acted in bad faith, provided false testimony, and attempted to extort him. Clayton was awarded attorney's fees. Now, Laura Owens faces multiple felony charges including fraud, forgery, perjury, and more.Prosecutors say this wasn't her first alleged scam , she's accused in at least one other fake pregnancy case.
