@hk9era Why are aot fans so elitest? They only like their own show because they think its the "best written thing" ever. That might also be the reason they take criticism so personally, because they hate the idea that their show isnt some 100/10 sent down from above magnum opus.

@energy_ninja I agree, aot's biggest flaws, aside from the insane plot armour and meaningless shockvak7e, is how contrived everything feels. I mean, Levi sticks a bomb to Zeke and then stands right next to him. Which makes no sense, why would you stand in range of your own explosive?

The War for Paradis and the Rumbling really needed quite a few really really dumb decisions to be made to turn out the way that they did, didn't they? Like so dumb I feel like these are different characters a bit that were made arbitrarily dense.

@MuzanKizuki The simple fix would have been to just have tanjiro pick one, nezuko or the villagers. But its easier to js have another character conveniently tell them what choice to make, as then you dont need to characterize them in response to it.

@MuzanKizuki From a writing perspective, this scene is bad, because it takes away Tanjiro's agency in a critical moment. He doesnt make the choice to save the villagers; nezuko does. Which is why many consider him a boring character, as all he does is get pushed around by the plot.
