I know this is a very subjective question, but which is the best bank in Kenya these days? Equity Bank is deteriorating into an institution on its deathbed. Which bank would you recommend based on reliability, customer service, mobile banking experience, and overall efficiency?

@SamatarGuleid Had poor customer service at @KeEquityBank Garissa branch. The app has not worked for me for a long time, and they didn't let me activate my Equitel line. I have seen similar complaints from other customers, yet I still stayed patient despite the clear warning signs.

@SamatarGuleid Ha! Shhh… don’t tell everyone about it. It is an option am already seriously considering rather than continuing to bank with Equity.

Equity Bank might be deteriorating but kwa ground almost every serious business in Nairobi moving crazy amounts of money has an account with them. I don’t know how they convince businesses to bank with them.

@Moha001_Onyango Their grassroots presence and years of strategic brand investment earned them trust and popularity but all that goodwill now seems to be slipping away as their mobile app barely works consistently, the Equitel line suffers endless hitche, and customer service from tellers is poor
