t second place at the 3vs3 Master Duel Challenger Cup with my friends @Axanidis and @NightfallTCG ! Crazy close finals were we lost 8/9 coins into 3 combo decks with 3 control decks started 0-3 in set 1 and brought it back to a 4-4. Sadly the final deciding game 9 was not winnable going second into full vsk9 board :( Still very happy about our result and our performance We played radiant typhoon for me, sky striker for anestis and dracotail for nightfall. More infos in the replies

1000% recommended! You pretty much get coaching from the Luna God himself. If you are preparing for YCS Dortmund/ Richmond / Guadalajara and intend to play Lunalight or want to learn to play it, this is 100% the best investment you can make for yourself.
bisKOTO@bis_KOTO

Opening Yu-Gi-Oh! coaching (Lunalight). YCS Bologna Top 16 | Multiple Rank 1 DB Old Branded Lunalight is no longer optimal.I have new Burst Protocol techs & lists, including builds for when players are prepared for Lunalight (Lava Golem, anti-Luna cards). DM if you want real prep.

And in the end, all of you who support this opinion, what do you have to say to the poor guy that came in 9th with x-2? They went x-2 with a crazy winrate and they did not make the cut for playoff. Did they fail?

Regarding the discussion of what is considered a top now, while I admire anyone that has the mentality that only top 8 is top, I have to disagree. In order to get top 8 you need a win rate of around 85% in a game full of auto wins and badly designed interactions. 1/x

We witnessed insane going first winrates, an abundance of combos that should not be legal (adding pachycephalo, mjolnir, etc), activating cards that win games on their own if not responded immediately (barrier, d.fissure, ddg). Too much variance starting from the dice roll.

YCS Anaheim was literally the epitome of the all the problems the game is facing. Instead of trying to play the game, everyone is trying to play their hardest to create a situation where the opponent does not even get to play (not the player's fault, but a design issue). 4/x

I am not in favour of all or nothing, success or failure. There is a middle ground and that's why you also have prizing for those spots. People managing to get to top 32 should be proud of it. Even the best players can lose a game 3 to d-barrier, to a stupid combo, etc. 3/x

In any other form of competition, this kind of win rate is insane. So ending up top 32 out of 2500 ppl you are in the top 1,28% of people attending that tournament. If that is a small achievement to some, in my mind it is still huge. I respect the winning mentality, but 2/x

Working on a project and need help brainstorming a list of iconic Yugioh TCG stream moments from the last decade. Anything from Jeff Jones dropping honest on a Susanowo to Jesse FTKing a child to USA winning worlds for the first time is fair game

@LoftonTCG I have heard so many times ppl accepting things they shouldn't and this is the exact argument I use to convince them to not accept any such behaviour. The investment of time + money is very important to understand what is at stake.

Get comfortable with confronting your opponents. If you traveled to an event and paid money for the event whyre you allowing an opponent to slow play you? Did you really travel and spend your hard earned dollars to get forced out of a tournament? Call a judge asap

@Urodacus @Lampi_Ygo True, meant requiem! It was more of a meta call for the tournament. I wanted a deck that would be equally good going first and second and that would pair with tenpai sky striker. Tenpai would issues where I would not know if I would go first or second and FS covered that.

@Urodacus @Lampi_Ygo Hey, I put the list together really quick before the tournament, I had an idea of what I wanted to play, but totally forgot about Necroquip. I should be playing necroquip, I:P and almiraj instead of Baronne, access and maybe 2nd Lurrie (I want to test if I will miss it)

@Axanidis @Lampi_Ygo Hey, i'm curious about seeing no necroquip on the list. Isn't it needed for the one card neo-space ?
