Remember when AXS staking was paying over 100% in raw AXS tokens and we all thought “this is good” “this is sustainable” Play to earn only works if it’s rooted in revenue share. Inflationary distributions as a reward for just holding really makes no sense.

@AxieFacts i actually forgot about that, but funny memory. Funny that ethics were being brought up in the context of free money splits lol. staying committed to free to play for vanity metrics was the real killer. wish we could have pivoted to an ante / risk-to-earn style model sooner.
