Axis Weekly Update: Beyond Data Collection A question we hear frequently from the community is: "What exactly happens to the data I generate?" Here is a direct look at how your trajectories are driving our model training and infrastructure this week: 1. Beta Data Processing & Model Training This week, we processed the beta test data collected and initiated model training iterations based on the trajectories. The immediate focus for this data batch is rigorous validation: we are testing data quality, trajectory consistency, and evaluating early-stage learning performance under diverse task settings. Successfully processing this beta data is a critical step in validating our pipeline. It proves our infrastructure can handle highly diverse data distributions, laying the foundation for pre-training general-purpose robotic models. 2. Enhanced In-Task Randomization To ensure physical AI can handle the unpredictability of the real world, we further strengthened in-task randomization across multiple task categories this week. This update includes introducing broader parameter variations and greater environmental diversity within our simulation engine. These enhancements are specifically aimed at improving the overall robustness and generalization of the data in downstream model training. Every trajectory you log is a building block for the Machine Economy.

We've recently upgraded our gripping system to make it more stable. Specifically, we increased the gripper's strength, and fine-tuned the friction and softness of the fingertip contact. The result is a more reliable grip and a more lifelike feel during interaction. Enjoy!

Quick product update for @axisrobotics: we provide visual guidance in the left corner, which could give clearer guidance on how to complete the task. Other minor issues, such as 1) insufficient gas and 2) a signing issue, are under investigation. Hopefully to be fix soon

We prepared 18 tasks that were expected to be finished within a week, and they were all completed within 24 hours of launch. This all comes from people's conviction that simulation is a key way to solve the data scarcity in today's physical AI development. Axis has not announced any VC backing yet, and we haven't done any paid marketing. All user growth has been organic, coming from loyal community members who truly believe in what we do and what we are here to achieve. I appreciate everyone's patience and passion for Axis Robotics. Your contribution is valuable. The issue with "task not completed" came from our mission checker being too strict. We are on track to solve this in two ways: 1, We will try to highlight the region in red in the future to provide clear guidance for the mission completion range. 2, We will see if we can provide a tutorial video for each task. keep buidling~
