Well Done Wednesday Vol: 108 On Monday, Wichita Police, QuikTrip, and the City of Wichita proudly announced a robust public-private partnership. As a result of this collaboration, a second Drone as First Responder (DFR) hive has been launched, further strengthening our ability to respond quickly and help keep our community safe. A hive consists of a set of three drones, allowing for enhanced coverage and rapid deployment when seconds matter most. Special thanks go to Mayor Lily Wu, the City Council Members, the City Manager, Skydio, AXON, and the Wichita Police & Fire Foundation for their teamwork and support in making this initiative a reality.
