From what I’ve seen, Ayabe does not make an appearance in today’s PakaLive.

The scene of Take lifting his fist to a starry sky is really touching. The bright star in the sky is most likely a reference to Admire Vega's dam, Vega, who Take won the Oka Sho and Japanese Oaks with. After all, Vega is the brightest star in the Lyra constellation.

Admire Vega (the real life horse) makes an appearance in a movie commemorating Take Yutaka's 40th Anniversary as a jockey. As the only jockey to ride Admire Vega, he achieved his second Japanese Derby win with him in 1999.
