I am using a friend’s car. As a rule. I don’t change settings in people’s cars. So this week I’ve found myself tuned into @Yfm coz the car owner is into YFM. It must have been a decade or so since I last tuned into YFM. What a beautiful lineup the station has put together, from the breakfast slot right through to the afternoon drive. I’ve been especially taken and impressed by the duo on the lunchtime show. The Lunch League presented by Fresh By Caddy and Yvette Floss. They are utterly refreshing, smart, easy on the ear and endowed with camaraderie that makes their energy infectious. Their links are crisp, quick in and out, they never talk over the music and their timekeeping is razor-sharp. These two talented kids have nailed the basics, which makes the listening experience such a pleasure. And of course, @AyandaMVP is holding it down like the seasoned pro she is on drive. My son unimpressed by her choice of a football club😂😂. All in all. These YFM folk are serving good radio. Very, very good radio.
