FUN FACT🌚 Uppercase and Lowercase were literally named after physical drawers Before computers, printing was done by hand, workers called typesetters would arrange individual letter blocks one by one to form words and sentences for printing. These blocks were stored in wooden trays, known as cases. Capital letters were positioned higher up (Upper case), Small letters were in the case below closer to their hands since they needed them more often (Lower case). Did you know this?
