Good one, I think he would excel in that left wing and can play as a right winger and also as 8… Get him in and seal it with Bruno plus one solid cb to hold it down until saliba comes back
Fabrizio Romano@FabrizioRomano

🚨🔴⚪️ Arsenal are now set to accelerate on Morgan Rogers deal, top target as new winger as always mentioned. Talks already advanced on player side and separate case from Tzolis, #AFC always wanted both. No talks for Barcola so far; focus on Rogers.

It’s so sad he has to go through all that just for the love of his country… it is what it is, we need a solid backup to hold it down before he comes back… 3-4 months is a long time man… we are going to miss him. It was initially reported as a small procedure but now all we are hearing is that it’s a full surgery which will take 3-4 months for recovery

Went 5-4-1 in the 55th minute while leading 1-0, left Saka and Madueke on the bench, took off Rice and Gordon, then brought on Rashford in the 89th minute… all while needing a goal. They should jail him before they sack him.

📰 Thomas Tuchel Defends His Decisions After Painful Defeat: “We Have No Regrets” 🎙️ Reporter: Thomas, after taking the lead, your team seemed to drop deeper. What changed after the 1-0? 🗣️ Thomas Tuchel: “After we scored, we became too passive. We stopped playing with the same intensity and allowed Argentina to grow into the game.” 🎙️ Reporter: You switched to a back five during the match. Was that a tactical decision you now question? 🗣️ Thomas Tuchel: “I decided to go to a back five because there were too many gaps. Argentina were winning almost every header, and we needed more stability to control the situation.” 🗣️ Of course, after a defeat, it’s easy to look back and say every decision was wrong. There are millions of coaches who always know better after the result is already there.” 🎙️ Reporter: Do you feel your tactics were the reason for the defeat? 🗣️ Thomas Tuchel: No, I don’t think it was a problem with the structure. The match simply changed completely. Football can turn in moments, and I am the one who makes the decisions. I take responsibility for them.” 🎙️ Reporter: Despite the result, how do you evaluate your team’s performance? 🗣️ Thomas Tuchel: “Today we played one of our best games. Maybe our best game. The players gave everything, and we competed against a very strong team.” 🗣️ We have no regrets. We gave everything we had, and we have to remember the journey we’ve been on and the strong teams we have faced along the way.” 🗣️ Football is decided by small moments. Sometimes they go your way, sometimes they don’t. But I’m proud of the effort from the players.”

🚨 “I Think I Woke Something Up In Him” — Bellingham Reflects On His Battle With Messi 🎙️ Reporter: Jude, you were ahead for most of the game and then the result changed late on. How difficult is that to accept? 🗣️ Jude Bellingham: “Yeah, it hurts. Those are the moments that stay with you. We were in a strong position for so long, and to lose it so late is really difficult. We wanted to reach the final, we believed we could do it, and everyone gave everything on the pitch.” 🎙️ Reporter: There was a heated moment between you and Lionel Messi during the match. What was going through your mind? 🗣️ Jude Bellingham: “Honestly, looking back, maybe that was my mistake. I tried to get a reaction from him, maybe to disrupt him a little because the game was going in our favour at that moment.” “But with someone like Messi, you have to be careful. He has that ability to change a game at any second. As long as he’s on the pitch, you can never feel comfortable.” “I think maybe I did the opposite of what I wanted. Instead of affecting him, I might have woken something up inside him.” 🎙️ Reporter: Was there any bad feeling between you two after that moment? 🗣️ Jude Bellingham: “No, not at all. I have huge respect for him. He’s someone I’ve admired for years. In a game like this, emotions are high, and sometimes things happen in the heat of the moment.” 🗣️ After the final whistle, he came over to me and spoke to me. He tried to lift me up, and that showed the type of person he is. I thought maybe he would be angry with me, but he showed nothing but respect.” 🗣️ That’s why he’s not only one of the greatest players ever, but also a great person. I have nothing but admiration for him.”

Pau Cubarsí has already wrapped up the 2026 World Cup young Player of the Tournament. I genuinely don’t think anyone else is even close.

I have supported every team that went up against Messi in this World Cup… Guess what? They all lost. 😭 At this point, I’m accepting defeat. Time to stop fighting it. That guy is inevitable.

Tuchel’s team kept Messi quiet for most of the game… then decided to park the bus at 55’. Against an ordinary team, maybe you survive. Against a team with Messi? You’re always one moment away from punishment. 🐐 And that moment came.

Romero fires back at Garry Neville: 🗣️ Gary Neville’s comments motivated us… we wanted to answer on the pitch” 🗣️Lisandro and I were on fire before the game because of what Gary Neville said. Those comments gave us extra motivation because we felt we had something to prove.” 🗣️ In England, they love to speak before the games. They have great opinions, but sometimes you have to respect your opponents because football is decided on the pitch.” 🗣️ We send Gary Neville a big hug. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when I retire, I hope I am not someone who constantly criticises players. I want to be someone who respects the next generation.” 🗣️ We know the quality we have in this Argentina team. We have players who are willing to fight for every ball, run for each other, and represent this shirt with pride.” 🗣️ At the end of the day, words are just words. The most important thing is what happens for 90 minutes. We believed in ourselves, we trusted the team, and we showed our mentality.” 🗣️ This group has a special bond. We play for our country, for our fans, and for everyone who believes in us.” told @DSports.
