Talk To The Holy Spirit Always The foundational principles of developing a personal and intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit is through the Word of God and prayer. It’s important to yield to Him through the Word and deepen your relationship with Him through prayer. Every relationship without communication dies, irrespective of what that relationship is, whether it’s the relationship between parents and their children, spouses, co-workers, etc. On the other hand, good communication nourishes and enhances relationships. If you’re going to have a richer fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you need to commune effectively with Him in prayer. He’s a person, and you’ve got to relate to Him as a person. Read our opening scripture again; it indicates the kind of relationship we’re supposed to have with the Lord. The Father is in heaven, and Jesus has gone to heaven; only the Holy Spirit is here with us. The God we know and relate to today is the Holy Spirit. He makes the presence of the Father and the presence of Jesus real to you. So, learn to talk to Him. That’s why speaking in tongues is also vital. Speak in tongues often. The Apostle Paul serves as a great example of a successful Christian and minister, and one of his secrets was fellowship with the Holy Spirit through prayer. He said, “I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all” (1 Corinthians 14:18). If Paul realized it was necessary for him to speak in tongues so much that he could say he spoke with tongues more than the whole Corinthian church, then you must recognize its importance. Speak in tongues every day and every so often, and build a sturdy relationship with the Holy Spirit. Christians who take their fellowship with the Holy Spirit seriously are often shielded and protected from chance and unfortunate occurrences. He said in Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with eye.” Think about that! But then, in the ensuing verse 9, He gave an important admonition: “Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle…” (Psalm 32:9). Sometimes you hear, “Twenty-five people were killed in an inferno, and a Christian sister was among them.” Or you hear, “Brother so and so was travelling to see his parents, there was an accident, and he died.” It’s not supposed to be so! There’re no accidents or mishaps to the child of God who’s in tune with the Spirit, filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. When you’re yielded to the Spirit and the Word, the Bible says you “…shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil” (Proverbs 1:33). Hallelujah! Develop an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. Know Him for yourself. Commune with Him constantly in prayer and through meditation on the Word. Remember He’s the Helper, Counsellor, Teacher, Advocate, Comforter, Strengthener and Standby that Jesus said the Father would send to us. Many of us are familiar with praying to God the Father, and talking to the Lord Jesus Christ all the time. It’s also essential for us to recognize the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, and commune with Him often and about everything. Talk to Him every day. I talk to the Holy Spirit more than I talk to any human person. Practise it. In the same way you’ve been talking to the Father and the Lord Jesus, consciously talk to the Holy Spirit. Address Him with recognition and reverence. Remember, He’s the conveyor of the presence and blessings of God; He’s the One who manifests God’s presence and His power wherever God wants it. Consider that this awesome, infinite personality of the Godhead resides within you and desires to communicate with you at all times. Interestingly, although His name is not “Holy Spirit,” He understands that you’re referring to Him or addressing Him because that’s how the Scripture refers to Him. It’s also amazing to realize that every time you talk to the Lord Jesus or pray to the Father, it’s the Holy Spirit who acts in response. So, while He responds to the Name of Jesus and fulfils the petitions you make of the Father, recognize and commune with Him as the doer of the work! Notice again what 2 Corinthians 13:14 says, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” Who do we have communion with? The Holy Spirit! While our legal fellowship is established through the Lord Jesus Christ, we are called to cultivate a vital relationship with the Holy Spirit. Talk to Him often. If you’ve been doing it, keep at it and encourage yourself in it. You’ll be amazed at how transcendent, impactful and excellent your life will be. Through His guidance, you’ll find your life propelled from glory to glory. Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him (Ephesians 1:16-17). Just because you’ve been a Christian for a long time doesn’t necessarily mean you’d be effective for God, and in the things of God. It takes more than singing nicely, praising God joyfully, and even preaching, to be effective for Christ and for the Kingdom; you have to know Him in a very personal way. That’s the reason for Paul’s prayer for the baby church in Ephesus, as read in our opening verse. Paul heard about their love for God; they were excited about the things of God. But he knew they lacked something and prayed that the Lord would grant it to them: “…the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him….” There’s a certain type of knowledge, a certain type of revelation of God that you ought to have; it’s called “Epignosis” (Greek); knowledge that relates to the known; a knowledge of relationship. This knowledge is different from theology or mere science. You can appropriate that prayer of the Spirit through Paul for yourself; put your name there and say, “I have the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the accurate knowledge of God.” You’ll experience the unveiling! It’s the work of the Spirit of God. Without this kind of knowledge, you’ll be a religious Christian, doing things religiously, without having a real relationship with God. When you have that relationship, you no longer see Him as the God of David or the God of Elijah; He becomes your God; He’s personal to you. That’s when you really appreciate and celebrate your union and oneness with Him. -GSW-

The "Praying Wife" Deceit! There is nothing as unscriptural as the belief held by many Christian circles that a "praying wife" and or a "praying mother" is essential for the success of the husband or the children. American Pentecostalism had always sold certain individuals' experiences within the context of religion as the "new thing" that everybody must buy or key into in order to make it in life. Capitalism's influence on true spirituality sold performative religious rites as the norm rather than the exception. Intercessory prayer is valid and acceptable as a form of prayer that believers must engage in, but in true Christianity, an arrangement where the wife is forever on her knees while her husband barely knows the Lord is not acceptable as a form of worship. An arrangement where the mother is praying fervently while the children are living a life of little or no regard to God is not the arrangement Jesus gave his life for. Job made sacrifices for his children daily, but the devil still killed them like flies. He didn't train the children to make sacrifices for themselves and know God for themselves. The responsibility for any relationship lies in the hands of the two people who are in a relationship and not on a third party. Imagine that you introduce a young man to a young lady, but neither of them shows any interest, and you, as the third party had to beg, pray, force, cajole, manipulate, convince, throw tantrums, negotiate, cry, and plead on behalf of one party so that the other party can be patient and wait and bless or be warm to the party. How do you think that kind of a relationship will fare? Mothers who didn't raise their children properly end up having crooks for children. To compensate for this, they end up taking up religion to pray and plead on behalf of their children in the place of prayer. Carmela Corleone, the wife of Don Vito Corleone in The Godfather, was a classic example of this. A mother who raised her children properly would only bless them as they walk with God, and her children shall give her peace and become successful in all their endeavours. Salvation is a personal thing, and having a relationship with God is a very personal thing. A father's faith cannot grant salvation to the son, a mother's salvation does not cover her children, and a wife's devotion does not count for her husband. Again, A father, mother, or wife can intercede in the place of prayer for a loved one. Intercession could buy time, delay evil from befalling the individual, cause the person to be favoured to get a job, a contract, or a visa, but these are temporary fixes. What God desires is to have a relationship with every one of us without any form of intermediary or proxy "standing in the Gap". God does not want that GAP to exist at all. All those standing in it are occupying an office that should not exist for that purpose. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that WHOSOEVER believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Faith is a personal thing. I have come across many men who say, "My wife is a prayer warrior; she is the one praying for me to succeed, and her prayers are effective over my destiny." They say this when things are going well for them. When things go sour for them in their career or business, they lash out at their wives, "Your mates are praying for their husbands, you are here pressing your phone. What is God saying? Tell me what the pastor said, pray that I get this contract, and I will buy you a car, etc." I have seen wives who claim that it is their prayer that made their husband successful. This claim is a fallacy! The first woman I know who made the claim was very fervent in the place of prayer. Her husband was an average person until he got an opportunity to travel to the USA. When he got to the USA, he married another wife, and his wife in Nigeria stopped praying for him out of anger over being betrayed. The man became richer and richer. The more the man became successful, the more this woman became bitter and resentful. She felt God ought to stop blessing the man, but it didn't work that way, and the man was not a believer. I see many people writing erroneously that their wives are their spiritual backbone! This is foolishness! Nobody can be another person's spiritual backbone! Ignorance makes people claim things that are not real as real, even though there is no scriptural backing for such. I have seen wives who claimed that when they stopped praying for their husbands, he stopped prospering. I have seen mothers who claimed that when they stopped praying for their children, they stopped prospering. When I investigated the claim, it was a lie. God did not put anybody's right to prosper in the hands of a third party. Your destiny is in your own hands! If a wife's duty is to pray for her husband to succeed in life, then the man should marry many wives so that he can have a harem of prayer warriors lifting him up spiritually every day. Isn't that ridiculous? Where we ought to train, we shouldn't pray! Parents must establish their children in a relationship with God (Not religion), and Spouses should establish their other halves in a relationship with God (Not religion). Everybody must know God for themselves. How can a man be expected to give an account of his life before God when his wife or his mother is the one who has been in charge of his spiritual well-being? It is good to have a supportive spouse who prays with you and prays for you out of love, but this prayer is not to be taken as a substitute for the spouse having a relationship with God himself or herself. I met a lawyer recently who was an orphan until she met this twenty-five years old man at the University of Ibadan at the age of 17. She said she needed a mentor at the time, and he was in his final year and a member of the Christian fellowship she was attending. He took an interest in her, and she leaned on him. He graduated and kept in touch while she continued to study with the aid of a scholarship. He didn't get a job after graduation and had to move back to his parents' house She crowdfunded for law school and became successful through her hard work, grit, and relationship with God She got a job, rented an apartment, and started building her career. This man, who started sleeping with her when she was nineteen, moved in with her. She started feeding him and providing for him. He told her she was his ministry God had called him to be her personal spiritual backing, and without his prayer, she wouldn't have become as successful as she was. This lady wrote to me asking if a born-again Christian who has a relationship with God needed God to give her such a man whose sole job was to pray for her while she makes the money and splits her earnings with him She is very intelligent, but sometimes intelligence bows to manipulation without the right perspective. Many Christians like her are suffering from the lies of prophets, pastors, spiritualists, marabouts, and spouses who convinced them that their relationship with God is inadequate in itself. "If not for my prayer and spiritual backing for you, you would not be this successful." This is manipulation at its best. She was able to break free of him, and she is flying higher and higher daily in Christ today. You have an audience of ONE I have an audience of ONE. My walk with God is personal Your walk with God is personal I have a relationship with God You have a relationship with God This is what true Christianity is: a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. -GSW-

Let’s set the record straight: “Reports claiming that Femi Otedola funded the Dangote Petroleum Refinery are completely and utterly false. He has not invested a single kobo, not one dollar, not one naira. The real story, which those peddling these lies conveniently ignore, is that Mr. Otedola has actually been requesting a special allocation to participate in the refinery’s forthcoming public offer.” I can categorically state that at no point did Alhaji Dangote request for financing from Mr Elumelu, Mr Adenuga and myself . The Dangote Group is a well-structured organisation that is well vast in raising structured capital for its operations. This is calculated mischief and a deliberate attempt to create rifts and sow discord within Nigeria’s closely knit and respected private sector leadership. These are men who have built businesses, created jobs, and invested in this nation for decades. They deserve better than to be used as props in a social media fabrication. To those behind this: desist immediately.. And to everyone else, social media is not a tool for manufactured drama. Nigeria deserves truth, not lies dressed up as insider information!

The South East is Beautiful My Ibom Air flight landed in Port Harcourt twenty minutes early. My driver had been told to arrive by 10 AM, but the flight landed by 9:38 AM I got my bags and stepped out of the airport into the car park I decided to wait for my driver in the parking lot A lot of taxi drivers and hustlers were in the parking lot Several of them came to me asking if I needed a taxi I said no Soon enough, they forgot about me and continued their daily routine This was why I came into their midst I wanted to listen to their conversations and feel the pulse of the people A driver to my right turned to the other and said, "Tinubu has given Nnamdi Kanu five conditions he must fulfil in order to set him free. One is for him to campaign for Tinubu throughout the Igbo nation, just like Sunday Igboho is doing. Two is for him to stop fighting for Biafra. Three is for him to disband the Eastern Security Network. Four is for him to leave the East and start living in Lagos or Abuja, so that his followers will not be able to get access to him again Five is for him join the APC The other driver, who had been listening patiently, replied, "The only solution is Peter Obi. If he becomes president, he will set Nnamdi Kanu free. Nnamdi Kanu knows that Obi will be president, and just like Tinubu did for Sunday Igboho, who is his brother, Peter Obi will also pardon Nnamdi Kanu and set Biafra free from Nigeria. What we need is a seaport for clearing and forwarding business, so that we don't have to go to Lagos again to bring in our goods, and Peter Obi will build that for us... I just listened I remember when M.K.O Abiola was in detention. Yorubaland was full of all sorts of imagined stories of the imminent freedom of M.K.O and the conditions set by Babangida and later Abacha for his freedom. A lot of people claimed that M.K.O was not really in prison but was in the presidential villa, eating good food and having negotiations with IBB, who was his good friend So many stories So many fabricated tales I remember when Shonekan became the interim President, many Yoruba folks believed the next thing he would do was to release M.K.O Abiola and restore his mandate to him It is natural for people to preserve their hopes with such stories Sometimes they were written, printed, and distributed free of charge to keep the embers of their agitation burning In the case of M.K.O Abiola, stories continued to spread like wildfire until he died Some of us who had seen him as the messiah before then had to shift our gaze away from pipe dreams to reality As my driver arrived, I decided to consult my mind for other examples of agitators and their mobs. Jesus was an agitator; his followers are still here, and the message of the Kingdom of God, which he came to spread, is still very much alive The Jewish and Roman governments fought hard to stop it, but it was an idea whose time had come When people feel oppressed and are dissatisfied with the political arrangements in their own country, they tend to yearn for freedom, even if they don't really know what it means in practical terms. My tour of the Southeastern states was a very positive one. I travelled from Port Harcourt through Aba, Onitsha, Owerri, Okigwe, and Ihiala. I also got to Asaba and Abakaliki. I was happy with what I saw. Free flow of traffic, both intracity and intercity. Roadblocks were not mounted for sinister reasons Commercial activities flowed naturally The hotels I saw at Awka got me breathless The meeting I went to was a success, and to be candid, I could live in any of the cities and sleep with my two eyes closed I already made plans to take the children with me to Awka during their next vacation so that they can learn more about Nigeria. I flew back to Lagos from the local Airport in Anambra. The flight was on time and it was a smooth journey all the way -GSW-

LET US MAKE YORUBA NATION GREAT AGAIN - ONE STATE AT A TIME 01 First of all, I have read rather amusing responses to my involvement in the Osun Gubernatorial Race. These comments are obviously conjured in pain - and are, at best, comical, though presented as attacks. 1. "JOE should face his Ogun and Lagos State Politics." No Sir. 1. No, Sir. The four corners through which a child's conception is traced - mine are purely tied to Yoruba ancestry, through and through. My Yorubaness is not a passport with territorial restrictions. It is a birthright. It gives me bonafide standing to hold opinions on any event, any contest, any crisis upon Yoruba soil. I am not Yoruba 'BUT' - I am Yoruba and Yoruba. 2. "JOE may be Yoruba but what does he know about Osun State?" Again, you are wrong. I do not presume to shape the political narratives of a state I can only locate on a map. I speak of a state where I schooled through my first degree - and where I served this nation as a teacher, moulding the next generation of its leaders. My former students at Ansaru-Islam, Erin Osun, have since grown into accomplished professionals across their respective fields. And if I were a certain Sirlerkur, I would today be comparing that feat - two decades old - to Tunde Onakoya's chess exploits. "Me too, I raised children from the slum." 😆 Many of those pupils still communicate with the Economics teacher they once called Corper JOE. And their communications with me transcend pleasantries. They come with complaints. A cry for rescue. A firm demand for change - because, as they tell it, the Osun we all once knew as promising and brimming with potential is no more. 3. "J.O.E don collect gig. Return their money, your literature won't work here." Afala Taquilin. May you also rise - one day - to a profile where your contributions to public conversation command value. With my first two points established, you will recognise: even had I not been Yoruba - a proud race who would never claim another man's stead as home - I am qualified to claim Osun. By education. By service. But Yorubas do not traffic in such inferiority complexities. I contribute only to causes I believe in. May you also, someday, command enough value that your opinions can attract favours. Now that we have cleared the air - SHALL I BEGIN?

Moral Disengement III “I Was Just Following Orders.” This may be the most dangerous mechanism of all. During the famous Human Rights Violations Investigations Commission, popularly called the Oputa Panel sittings in Lagos Hamza Al-Mustapha and Sergeant Rogers consistently claimed that as soldiers they were trained to obey the last command, and as a result of this, all the assassinations credited to them were orders that they were just following. They argued that they had no fault and cannot be judged as regards motives and morals because they were simply carrying out instructions given to them by a superior officer They believed the authority figure bore the moral weight of their actions, not them. That same logic appears everywhere: in corporate scandals, bureaucratic failures, and institutional abuse. People reassure themselves by saying things like, “I was just doing my job,” or “I didn’t make the rules.” But systems don’t act — people do. Joab got a letter from David that he should place Uriah at the forefront of the battle, knowing full well the young man would most likely die as a result of this instruction. He obeyed it because he was just following orders Every harmful system depends on countless small acts of compliance. No one wakes up intending to cause harm. They choose not to question, not to resist, and not to take responsibility for what their obedience enables.

LET US MAKE YORUBA NATION GREAT AGAIN - ONE STATE AT A TIME 02 Now follow me on a journey in history - 1979 - 1983 1. LAGOS Lateef Jakande was the Governor. A colossus of Nigerian Journalism who climbed from the newsroom floor to the Editor's chair at the Daily Times. As Governor, Lagos became a cathedral of Free Education - public schools multiplied like harmattan fires, and thousands of classrooms rose from bare earth in record time. Jakande's Low-Cost Housing Schemes were a covenant with the poor. In Ajegunle, in Festac, the dispossessed found roofs and dignity. Low-income earners could beat their chests and say: I am not no longer a tenant. But most instructively - Lateef Jakande was Awolowo's product. 2. OYO Bola Ige - a mind sharp enough to cut granite, a governance style bold enough to wake the dead. A trained lawyer, called to the bar in the United Kingdom, he built a legal career that preceded his politics and informed it. Under him, Oyo mirrored Lagos in its Free Education crusade. Infrastructure - roads, housing, and public buildings were monumental. The broadcasting revolution he midwifed made NTA a regional force. His agricultural initiatives breathed life into farm settlements and stirred rural communities from their slumber. Bola Ige was Awolowo's mentee. 3. OGUN Olabisi Onabanjo - a brilliant journalist and Media Administrator who did not merely write history; he made it. Free Education in Ogun was not policy - it was creed, executed at both Primary and Secondary levels. He founded Ogun State University, planting a tree whose shade still covers generations. Healthcare was not a campaign promise but a daily commitment - General Hospitals and Primary Healthcare Centres were extended to the nooks and crannies that power often forgets. Olabisi Onabanjo was Awolowo's protégé. 4. ONDO Michael Adekunle Ajasin - teacher, Principal, Educationist. A man who spent decades in the classroom before the classroom of governance received him. He did not stumble into leadership; he was prepared for it. His administration carried the Free Education torch into Ondo and Ekiti alike, fanning the flames of literacy across the forest belt. Ajasin Estates gave civil servants and low-income citizens affordable homes. Water and Rural Electrification reached communities history had abandoned. His Cocoa Economy Support gave farmers not just policies but a decent life - and in Yorubaland, a farmer who eats well is a nation that stands tall. Michael Adekunle Ajasin was Awolowo's political son. ---- What do I wish to establish with this epistle? That there was a time the Yoruba Nation moved as one body guided by one encompassing vision. When a palm tree grows to its fullness, its branches spread wide. Every Yoruba leader of that era was a branch of the same root, and competitive development was the fruit they all bore. That there was a time our leadership selection process was impeccable - not a lottery, not a transaction, but a careful passing of a burning torch. That there was a time our leaders were professionals, experts in their field, not opportunists. Not entitled heirs to power. A time when the quality of the men and the depth of the vision they subscribed to made mediocrity structurally impossible. ---- How then did we arrive here? How did Osun end up with a leader like Jackson? Which profession has he mastered? Under whose mentorship was he formed? Whose vision does he carry? Which blueprint is he advancing? What landmark achievement bears his name? The tree with no roots is the wind's errand boy. Osun demanded a leader from the house of Adeleke, expecting the best of the family. They offered the worst of the household. Even the dancing for which he is famous - he is not a professional at that either. This is what I will call sacrilege. One the good people of Osun State are committed to correcting. Good Morning Severally...

On behalf of the Government and people of Lagos State, I express my sincere gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Executive Council for the approval of Phase 1A of the Lagos Green Line Rail Project. This project is a significant milestone for our state. The Green Line will span approximately 68 kilometres, linking Marina to the Lekki Free Trade Zone, with about 17 stations serving key locations including Victoria Island, Ajah, and the wider Lekki corridor. It will serve up to 500,000 passengers daily at inception with the capacity to increase to about one million over time. With the ability to move up to 35,000 passengers per hour in each direction, the line will reduce travel time and relieve pressure on our road network. This project reflects our commitment to improving mobility, supporting economic growth, and enhancing the quality of life for Lagosians. We value the continued support of the Federal Government and remain focused on delivering a system that meets the needs of our people.

Aneglic Engagements And The Believer What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him but little lower than God, And crownest him with glory and honor (Psalm 8:4-5 ASV). I’m ever so awed by the wisdom and greatness of our God. To think that He’d choose us—the new creation—to be His partners in executing His master-plan of salvation for the world beggars the imagination. The greatest of it all, which the angels themselves are amazed at, is that this great God of glory would call us into fellowship with Himself through the Holy Spirit, and give us the Holy Spirit to live in us. The angels haven’t got over that yet; they’re still seeking to understand its implications. The angels of God are glorious beings; they know who they are: they’re mighty, and excellent in glory, but they’re amazed at what God has done for and with us, because as glorious as they are, God doesn’t live in them. However, as “unworthy” as we were, He gave us a new life and made us His living tabernacles. This is a mystery to the angels; they don’t understand the reason for this yet. And guess what! God chose us to explain it to them. Every time we preach Jesus and teach about the Holy Spirit, the angels listen. They love it! Because it’s something they only know about from the Scripture, but they don’t have the experience; they don’t know what it’s like, so they hear it from us. Read this beautiful verse: “To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God” (Ephesians 3:10). This is the Apostle Paul writing to the Church; we’re the ones from whom the principalities and powers in heavenly places get to know the mysteries of God, and His multifaceted wisdom. The Bible lets us know that the angels would have given anything to be in on this (1 Peter 1:12), but we’ve been chosen to explain the mysteries to them. Since this is part of our responsibilities as God’s children, it means we must know the Word, live in the Word, and live out the Word, as the expression of the living Word. Colossians 1:26-27 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Romans 16:25-26 25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: Galatians 4:1-2 “Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.” A lot of times, when people read the scripture above, they think it only refers to human leaders, but no, it includes angels. Angels protect and watch over you to ensure your well-being, and they report to the Father in heaven. However, when a Christian walks in the flesh and against the Word, angels also have the right to wield the rod of correction. In the Gospel of Luke, the Bible describes for us the Archangel Gabriel’s visit to Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist. The angel told him he’d have a son, but Zechariah doubted him, saying, “…How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years” (Luke 1:18). The response provoked the angel, and he struck Zechariah with dumbness until the child was born. The angel disciplined Zechariah for daring to doubt his message. Angels minister for us; they run errands for us, but they have the authority to take certain actions. This is why, as a Christian, you must be careful in your life. Refuse to be rude, proud or arrogant. Don’t disregard spiritual authority and instructions. Angels frown at such things. The Bible specifically tells us to respect authority because of the angels. Many are facing certain challenges in their lives that wouldn’t go away, and it’s because they’re walking against God’s Word. Until and unless they make a change, there’ll be no solution. (Please note, this post is not about worshipping pastors or leaders or General Overseers by using the term "they are the angels watching over my life that I can see". No angel is worthy of the worship of a believer, and no pastor or prophet, too, is worthy of the same) Worship only God Walk in the wisdom of God by acting on the Word. Honour and revere those whom the Lord has placed over you to teach and raise you up spiritually. Be quick to act on spiritual instructions. Walk in love! These will strengthen your spiritual effectiveness and enhance the ministry of angels in your life. -GSW-

Angelic Interractions and The believer A pastor told a true story some years ago. He said, “Two angels came to me. One was big, tall, a huge fellow. He said, “Come, I want to show you how to heal the sick.” I didn’t know who he was. I knew it was an angel, just didn’t know which one. That angel is the one who goes with me in healing the sick. I followed him through the aisle of a building that looked like a church. He was showing me how to heal the sick. There was another angel behind him who wasn’t saying anything, just carrying out his ministry. We have to understand there is a realm of the Spirit. It exists, and it is here now. We are part of it because we’re born into it. Every one of you has an angel—at least one. Many of them go with me now. Some are just stationed in certain places. That’s a fact. Very important fact. They bless people. Kenneth Hagin told a story: Jesus appeared to him one time, and while Jesus was talking, demon spirits came and stood between him and Jesus. Jesus kept talking, but the demons made noise—yak, yak, yak. He wondered, “Doesn’t Jesus know I can’t hear Him anymore? Isn’t He going to do something?” But Jesus kept talking. Finally, he got aggravated and rebuked the devil, saying, “Get out in Jesus’ name.” The demon fell down, ran off like a little monkey with its tail between its legs. Then Jesus said, “If you hadn’t done something about it, I couldn’t have done anything.” Jesus explained, “When I came out of the grave and received all authority in heaven and earth, I gave the authority to the church. The authority over demons is with you. If you hadn’t done anything, I couldn’t have done anything about the situation.” Oral Roberts tells a story of being in the hospital. While there, Jesus appeared and talked to him. A huge, tall angel stood by. Jesus said, “That’s your angel.” After Jesus left, the angel was waiting. The angel said, “Dispatch me.” Roberts asked in the name of Jesus, “I dispatch you,” and the angel went. I remember the first time I saw an angel in 2005. I was in my second year at Bowen University. I had applied to the chaplaincy to be chosen as a Campus Fellowship Executive Member, even though I was in my second year. Applications were accepted from only third-year students at the time. I was, however, a Student Fellowship leader since my first year, and the fellowship I led was the biggest on campus. On the day the executive members were to be inaugurated, an angel suddenly appeared to me in the library. I wanted to scream, but no sound came from my mouth; I was just still. This angel stood by my side until a Christian brother walked in and held me by the hand. He led me to the courtyard and began to pray for me. I personally didn’t really fancy this Christian brother that much because of how he conducts himself, and he didn’t really fancy me either. Yet, the Spirit of God led him straight to me, and the power of God came over me like wildfire that day. Since then, I have seen angels and had interactions with them so many times. Sometimes, the angel of a believer will have discussions with me about that believer, and the believer himself or herself would have never had any form of interaction with his or an angel before. This is quite fascinating. You don’t have to wait to see an angel first; the Bible says they are already there. The key to living the supernatural life is to believe God wholeheartedly and obey his words. Jesus said blessed are those who believe without demanding proof, like Thomas. Did God say it? I believe it. I speak it. I act upon it. I tailor my life to walk in it. I do not say I believe and then act contrary to it because of my flesh or senses. I may not see it, but I know it is there, and I believe it is there because God said it is there. I trust and obey the Lord always. Look at Elisha in 2 Kings. Elijah prayed, “Lord, open his eyes that he may see.” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw the mountain full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha. Elisha was no more protected than we are. Fear deactivates the army of God. When you become afraid, angels do nothing because they wait for your word. Hebrews chapter 1 shows us angels are ministering spirits sent forth **to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation**. Not “to them,” but “for them”—they wait for instructions. There are angels all around us, of different kinds and levels. Some minister to God, some minister for God, and some are with us. Jesus said, “Don’t underestimate any of these little ones; their angels see the face of My Father regularly.” As you grow and obey God, your angel grows with you. More angels may be sent under them. Your angels have been there all along, waiting for you to speak. Sometimes we cry in their presence but don’t act. Peter stepped out of the boat to walk to Jesus. When he looked at the waves, fear gripped him, and he began to sink—even in the presence of Jesus. But Jesus quickly reached him, saying, “Why did you doubt?” It’s the same today. There is a real realm of the Spirit, and we are born into it. Every one of us has at least one angel. Some are with us all the time, some are stationed in places. Angels minister, bless, and obey the instructions of God, waiting for us to step into faith and action. This is a place of revelation where the Word of God comes alive, and the reality of the Spirit is unveiled. Our desire is to equip you with faith, wisdom, and understanding so you can walk in the fullness of God’s plan for your life. -GSW-

If your money is white, park your car at the airport because you validate yourself by how expensive what you own materially is. You need people to see you when in fact you are very cheap. If you are like me with ₦, get a driver to ferry you to the airport and back or use @LagosRide @LagrideNigeria. The former will cost you ₦200,000, you'll employ a Nigerian and put food on his table for a month. The latter will not cost you ₦30,000. Don't be White, be wise.

WE MUST RESCUE OSUN STATE BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE I prefer to speak less about the affairs of other zones - for the Yoruba are no meddlesome interlopers in the business of neighbours. But wherever it concerns our cradle, wherever it touches the pride of our people and the soil that bore us - it becomes my business. And Osun State, at this very hour, is my business. Do you know that over ₦1 Trillion Naira has filtered through the system in Osun State - and the dancing governor can barely account for a substantial portion of it? The little he manages to defend has been found squandered on areas of zero priority to the good people of that land. Do you know that this governor places greater value on entertainment, owambe, and assorted frivolities than on industries and investments that could lift the living standards of his people? How else do we explain a governor who lavished ₦92 Billion on parties, merry making and concerts - yet committed only ₦7 Billion to agriculture within the same breath of time? What a tragedy. What a monument to misplaced priorities. But it has never been my practice to condemn the innocent - and so I will not lay the full weight of blame on Adeleke. He never pretended to be anything other than what he is. The man never feigned competence. The people of Osun elected him in grief, as a sympathy gesture for the passing of his beloved brother, Senator Isiaka. A noble sentiment - but governance is not a condolence assignment. Now that the Senator has been fully and fitly honoured, the people of Osun are ready to correct the blunder with clear eyes. Mediocrity will finally give way for capacity. ADELEKE will be replaced with AMBO. Good Morning Severally

Be the kind of Christian whose parents can’t use spiritual manipulation and fear to direct the affairs of your life. Don’t be a baby spiritually, be the one your parents look up to for spiritual guidance. Walk with the Holy Spirit deliberately with irrefutable proofs

They were offered ₦100 million to ignore the crime, but they refused. Think about that for a moment. On April 9, 2026, officers from the Force Intelligence Department Special Tactical Squad (STS) stopped a trailer truck in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. Hidden under sacks of groundnut shells were 60 tonnes of stolen railway tracks and sleepers. This stolen infrastructure, worth over ₦400,000,000, belonged to the Nigerian people. Two suspects were arrested: Chisom Goodnews, 32, and Ahmed Adamu, 22. The truck driver was paid ₦2,500,000 to transport the stolen materials from Bauchi State to Ilorin. This was the work of an organized syndicate, a planned supply chain, and a direct attack on Nigeria's national infrastructure. Then came an offer of ₦100,000,000 in cash to let the suspects go and walk away. The officers refused. It was not because they did not need the money, but because true integrity, even when it is difficult, cannot be bought.
The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, personally praised all the officers involved. He said their courage and honesty show the Nigeria Police Force at its very best. To those officers: you were offered a fortune to break your oath, but you chose to stand by Nigeria. This is the kind of Nigeria Police Force our nation deserves, and it is real.

NPF FOILS RAILWAY VANDALISM SYNDICATE, RECOVERS ₦400 MILLION ASSETS, OPERATIVES REJECT ₦100 MILLION BRIBE The Nigeria Police Force, through the Force Intelligence Department Special Tactical Squad (FID-STS), has recorded a major breakthrough with the arrest of two (2) suspects involved in the large-scale vandalisation of critical national infrastructure and the recovery of railway materials valued at over Four Hundred Million Naira (₦400,000,000). The suspects, Chisom Goodnews (32) and Ahmed Adamu (22), were arrested on 9th April 2026 at about 1800hrs in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, following credible intelligence. The operation led to the interception of a trailer truck conveying approximately sixty (60) tonnes of vandalised railway tracks and sleepers. The materials were concealed under sacks of groundnut shells in a deliberate attempt to evade detection while being transported from Bauchi State to Ilorin, Kwara State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver of the truck was contracted for the sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦2,500,000) to transport the vandalised materials, while further findings indicate an organised supply chain linked to receivers of such stolen infrastructure. During the investigation, the operatives involved in the operation reportedly rejected an offer of One Hundred Million Naira (₦100,000,000) made in a bid to compromise the process and secure the release of the suspects and exhibits. The trailer truck used in conveying the items has been recovered, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend other members of the syndicate, including the intended receivers, and to recover additional exhibits. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, commends the operatives for their courage, discipline, and incorruptibility, noting that such acts exemplify the core values of the Force. The Nigeria Police Force remains dedicated to safeguarding the nation’s assets from vandalism.
