Am witness to the 2020 meticulous makeover and upgrade of #ElephantPlains having taken a family vacation there courtesy of COVID subsidies. I show the Great Lakes signiture clay flooring being installed, the recycled bottle light windows installed at the lobby bar and between it and the balcony in picture and the unique Elgon teak furniture being installed. have since returned only once to see the completed works

The unreasonable double standards on these streets must be condemned.
We need to understand one basic truth that for musicians, music is not just art, it is their livelihood. It is their business, their shop. When artists create music, they do so for everyone, regardless of political affiliation, and when they perform, they perform for whoever hires them. That does not automatically translate into political support. It is business. Period.
Just a few days ago, @kingsaha_256 performed at a media house that many of you loudly claim is state-sponsored, yet none of you called him out. Now the same people are dragging @AllanToniks for performing at an NRM rally. How exactly is that fair?
What truly matters is not where an artist performs, but what they say and stand for after the performance.
You cannot honestly equate artists like @AllanToniks or @YkeeBenda with @BebeCoolUG or @eddykenzoficial. There is a clear difference. The former go, perform, get paid, and the next day, they continue using their platforms to question power and hold leaders accountable. The latter openly and consistently align themselves with the oppressor and continue to mock the oppressed.
Most of you run businesses of your own loke shops, boutiques, hotels, salons. Do you first ask customers about their political beliefs before selling to them? Do you refuse service to people you disagree with politically? If not, why then draw an artificial moral line when it comes to artists?
Artists are doing business like the rest of us. Accountability should be judged by principle and conduct, not selective outrage.

Uganda
To me Uganda is very personal not political parties or individuals but Uganda.
I had a chance as a tour guide to travel around uganda as a young man, I tracked, climbed mountains , visited many islands etc.
I then started being a tour guide around east Africa, I saw, tested , experienced Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda as my second stage.
I didn’t know God was preparing me for a bigger goal in life. I say God because it was time of rebels around the country. Came near death many times. I earned close to nothing.
Doing Tanzania , Kenya and Rwanda made me appreciate it uganda more, I saw clients reactions because I took them around these countries.
Then I started traveling around other African countries and wasn’t any different , basic things like food and weather, uganda was so superior.
Then 2002, because of my knowledge I was asked to represent Uganda in the US at the corporate council of Africa, I was 29 and that marked the real start.
I board planes close to 15 times a year going to different counties around the world, I always look forward to coming home. Yes weather and food being the 2 most important aspects.
Been to every continent, toured most of the popular places in the world, slept cheap, slept expensive, eaten cheap, eaten expensive. I know someone in over 80% of the countries around the world.
Any argument about Uganda and its potential, I will fight and fight hard. I know its potential, I know its problems but I have chosen to make a difference in my life time which I thank God for.
I won’t argue with you if speak politics, I will take you on when it comes to uganda and its potential and it doesn’t matter who you are. It’s personal for me.
Uganda has given a chance in life, knowing it has opened doors people would love to walk through. From abject poverty to a Children’s home, to a cleaner , an office messenger, to a tour guide to businesses.
Uganda is personal, I will engage you, I will block u for Uganda, mazima!
