I know you people will fight me on this but I don’t care. I think it is really poor that some of you cannot take 2-3 hours once a month to spend time with friends. It will not always be convenient and it will not always be at a place you want to go to. At least try.

I would never touch or hit a woman (except in self defense). But you see that silent treatment? I have 5 Professorial degrees in it. I will wear you out till you either take responsibility or you leave voluntarily. Take your “maturity” to the bank.

Listen to Frank Edoho, he’s smart. These Women want to frustrate you so you can hit them and they destroy your career. Pick silence anyday. If they want to go out and get fucked by any rando, let them.

The fact that a lot of Women are on Chike’s side only confirms that he’s doing rubbish. Women never support Men because they’re naturally very selfish people. So as a rule of thumb, if a lot of Women are supporting your actions as a Man you’re doing rubbish.

I was in court once. A wife sued her husband for divorce The judge read the case file and said, "There are no grounds for divorce here unless this woman is just saying she is no longer interested because of her own reasons. Irreconciliable differences, and the man is still paying you all these allowances and taking care of your mother, sending your younger brother to the University, and having sex with you? Unless there is something you that is not written here, i cannot in good faith say this case is worthy of consideration." The court was silent The judge then turned to the woman and said "Is there financial abuse?" Woman: No Judge: Is there emotional abuse? Woman: No Judge: Is there infidelity? Woman: eemmmm.... Yes Judge: You are a liar. If he cheated on you, that would be the first thing you would list here as your reason for seeking a divorce. I can see you are desperate to leave the marriage to pursue your own agenda, and for that reason, I will grant you this divorce so that you don't kill this man." Woman: Thank you your honour Husband: I take exception to being accused of infidelity in court, ma. My children may read the transcript one day, and I will not have them believe that. Judge: Woman, what do we do now? Woman: I am sorry for saying that, your honour. I also apologise to him. It was a slip of the tongue. I now state categorically that Mr. so and so did not cheat on me throughout our fourteen years of marriage. I am seeking a divorce based on irreconcilable differences. A cheating wife will accuse her husband of cheating without blinking. To the cheat, every other person is a cheat

“Frank Edoho had to call me himself and we spoke for about 30 minutes. A grown man like him almost cried because of the pain he was feeling from the media backlash. His wife cheated on him, he caught her the first time, she confessed, they settled it and moved on. She allegedly went back to the same person again. He started noticing signs, confronted her, but she refused to confess, and he decided he was done if she wasn’t going to tell the truth.” — Titi of Impact from Honest brunch podcast.

There’s something about Seyi Makinde and Taye Currency, that chemistry is not ordinary, it seems no artiste makes Governor Seyi Makinde happier than Taye Currency. It was right there at the coronation of Olubadan that Taye Currency seemed to see what happened today at Màpó and he signaled it boldly in music. While serenading Tinubu, he dropped that now-famous line: “Bó wù yín ẹ dé fila… Seyi Makinde la ma dibo wa fún…” At the time, many people heard just another Fuji lyric. But looking back now, it sounded like much more than music, almost like he was sending a message to the current president about the one he believes may be coming next. That is what makes Taye Currency stand out. Very few Fuji artistes can move seamlessly between governors and presidents, singing for today’s power while hinting at tomorrow’s. He is the Fuji artist who sereanded the current president, and at the same time already the voice of the president he sees on the horizon, Seyi Makinde. From the popular coronation of olubadan to standing strongly with Makinde, Taye Currency keeps proving that some musicians do not just entertain power, they read the future around it. At this rate, if Seyi Makinde ever heads to Aso Rock, do not be surprised if Taye Currency gets there before the convoy. Truly, Akande AdebisiCurrency saw the future at the coronation. Truly Wèrè là fi ń wo wèrè!

Governor Seyi Makinde has declared interest in the presidency, and it naturally raises a thought, maybe the time has come for an Ibadan man to become President of Nigeria. But if that happens, could 2027 present a contest between two Yoruba sons? Òun tí'ó to pín tẹ́lẹ̀, tá tún fẹ́ yà sí méjì Yoruba politics may once again test old loyalties. But then, why not? Politics has never been short of surprises. Perhaps someone should call on the spirit of Hubert Ogunde to reenact that famous play at Obisesan Hall which once stirred Samuel Ladoke Akintola. Not to provoke anyone, but to remind us that history often returns in new clothing, and there is always something to learn from the past. May Wetiẹ never return to Yoruba land. One thing is certain,2027 will be dramatic Those watching should be ready Politics is about to become even more interesting. Fíìmù bẹ̀rẹ̀ ArugboBoisi Babamogba Ogundeji village,Ikereku Ibadan.
