Honoured to address the luncheon and Ministerial Dialogue hosted by the Executive Secretary of @UNESCAP, where I outlined Azerbaijan’s vision for strengthening regional cooperation, sustainable development, and inclusive connectivity across Asia and the Pacific. In my remarks, I underlined the importance of multilateralism, shared responsibility, and practical partnerships to address today’s global challenges and to advance a more resilient and interconnected region.

Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with Sihasak Phuangketkeow @SihasakPh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand during the working visit in #Bangkok. The Ministers discussed the current state & future prospects of bilateral relations highlighting strong potential to expand cooperation in political dialogue, economic & trade ties as well as culture & tourism. The opening of Azerbaijan Embassy in Thailand in December 2025 & the first round of political consultations between the two Ministries were noted as important milestones strengthening the institutional framework of relations. The importance of enhanced cooperation within multilateral platforms including UNESCAP was emphasized. Minister Bayramov also briefed his colleague on Azerbaijan’s post-conflict peace agenda, demining efforts & large-scale reconstruction in 🇦🇿’s liberated territories. Ministers also discusses broader regional security affairs and the situation in the Middle East.

On the sidelines of the 82nd session of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Prime Minister of Thailand H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul. The sides discussed the priorities of Azerbaijan as a Chair of the @UNESCAP, prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Thailand, and regional issues.
