Summer Game Fest@summergamefest
2 weeks until the XBOX Games Showcase. What announcement are you hoping to hear?

@LUCKYY10P @Simplicit570 They way I see it, they said Destiny 3 was not in production in any capacity. They never said that there wasn't a new destiny game in the works.
English

@Simplicit570 June 9th everyone is planning to play.
A Destiny 3 will not be Destiny 2.
English

The sentiment behind this is great and all but people are still not logging in now, 123k signatures but barely half actively playing it. Bungie created this mess, giving them a 3rd chance after they failed 2 the last year is letting them have a pass for getting to this point.
LUCKYY10P@LUCKYY10P
Woke up to 123,000 verified signatures. That means we got about 23,000 while I was sleeping. Sign the petition if you want a studio to make Destiny 3. Log in on June 9th. Post comments and stories on social media telling Sony we still have gas in the tank.

@DestinyBulletn @PaulTassi IMO, I think Sony's new plan IS to shutdown Bungie as a company. That's why they stopped content with D2 and are not making a D3. They'll do their rounds of layoffs and take the remaining crew and disperse them to other Sony studios. They know Marathon will fail.

🚨"Almost all" of Bungie didn’t know Destiny 2 was ending active development until it was announced yesterday, per @PaulTassi

@DestinyBulletn Now they can use that to maybe build a main story campaign for D3

@drinkonsaturday Is it light as a feather and as hard as dragon scales?

3D printed chainmail might not be historically accurate, but for LARP-ing and cosplay it’s pure gold. Super lightweight, quick to reprint if you break a link, zero maintenance, no rust, and those tightly interlocked rings actually perform surprisingly well against foam weapons and light impacts. You can customize colors, patterns, and even scale it perfectly to your body in software before hitting print. No more heavy, sweaty, expensive metal that takes weeks to assemble by hand.
Historically speaking? Total anachronism. Medieval armorers punched and riveted thousands of real metal rings one by one—no FDM printers or resin tanks in 14th-century Europe. But that’s not the point for most players.
How many purists will this piss off? Plenty. The hardcore historical reenactment crowd—the ones who hand-forge their own rivets, tan hides with brain matter, and spend years researching dye recipes—will lose their minds. Expect furious forum posts calling it “plastic trash,” “larp heresy,” and “the death of the hobby.” Gatekeeping Reddit threads, angry comments at events, and at least one bearded knight in full authentic harness muttering about “modern degeneracy ruining everything.”
Yet the vast majority of LARP and cosplay folks will quietly love it. Comfort wins over authenticity when you’re running around a field all day. Print on, warriors—your back and wallet will thank you. The purists can keep their authentic misery.

🚨NEW: Bungie reportedly planning a "significant" number of layoffs after ending Destiny 2 development, with no Destiny 3 in development - thegamepost.com/bungie-signifi…

@RetroMoviesDB My first first person shooter was DOOM. Followed by Spear of Destiny and then Wolfenstein
English

@DestinyTheGame As sad as this is, I really hope D3 is in the works at least. Marathon alone will not bring you what D1 and D2 brought to the table.

For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

Common Core math was introduced in 2010 to address standards across the U.S. and shift the focus from rote memorization to a deeper, conceptual understanding of mathematics. By 2026, it remains a common standard in many states, aiming to prepare students for college and the modern workforce by fostering critical thinking and number sense rather than just memorizing formulas.
There has been much debate on using common core math in schools curriculum. Do you agree with using common core math in schools? Or do you think the old way of doing math was the better way to teach math to children?
