Not necessarily. Most of our greatest minds were bad at socializing, not because it's hard to understand the systematic logic behind communication, but because of the frustration of playing this game of communication instead of being able to freely express themselves, so they just retract from others and let their work do the talking for people looking for it. Remember, communication is supposed to be intuitive, so if you aren't naturally inclined to it then it becomes a more trouble than it is worth. Besides, intelligence isn't universal, your great intellectual baseline means nothing to fields you are not inclined towards, it doesn't make everything easier, it makes applying your inclinations easier.
